Hey KJ, on the side, did you happen to know anyone onsite at the ironworkers accident up in Seattle this last weekend. Tragic and sad.
I know both and yes we are all very distraught about the situation.
The Ironworker's USA Credit Union is taking donations for families. Travis Corbett was my student/apprentice he turned Journeyman 4 years ago. Great kid. Andrew Yoder was out of Bellevue Wash. but he has been working for Northwest Tower Crane for a long time. We all know him as he has put up many cranes here in Portland.
If interested in making a donation call 503-774-3848. Anyone there can help you. They will be very grateful.
This is a terrible situation for the families. Both wives have children. There is also a fund set up for non-ironworker victims families.

My vote is still for the Tualatin Hills Athletic Center. It's in Beaverton but it's pretty much right off the highway so it's easy to get to.

I vote Peninsula. Looks like a good court and it's actually my direction a little bit.

Says its a 17 minute drive for me to Peninsula and only a 15 minute drive from Beaverton.

Anything north of I84 would be nice, and a first?

Well most places are going to be pretty busy when the weather is nice.

Okay, it will probably be closer to 4:00 for me to get there.

Thats a good point, that place is usually packed even when its not nice, Im not saying we shouldn't use that place just that we should expect a lot of people to be there. According to google peninsula park is 40 minutes from my house (right now the traffic is good!) heh.

Yeah, that's why I said it would be closer to 4 when I can make it.

Confirmed:
@TorturedBlazerFan
@dviss1
@Orion Bailey
@BonesJones
Myself

So who else is coming?

@Propagandist
@HailBlazers
@PtldPlatypus
@KingSpeed
@H.C.
@PDXFonz
@Bob Dobalina
Anybody else?

Whatever I don't care yall pick. Just would be nice to not have to drive 30-45 minutes every time.

Colonel Summers is pretty good.

Alberta and Woodlawn are both intense.

Irving has the best games in Portland.

Me and a buddy played against Mychal Thompson, 2v1, loser buys lunch, at West Moreland park. He bought us Wendy's.

Stop bragging and come out and put the slam down on us!!

I said Peninsula is fine it will just take awhile to get there. I told you this last time but I don't think you realize that some of us have just as long of a drive into Portland or longer than you do.

Why don't you guys just jump on I-5 and head down here??? Fair warning- Salem rules are "No blood, no foul". There's some great courts, and they're open most of the time. This one here is probably the best. It's my favorite, at least....

(Yes, I am trolling your thread. Poorly. However, like @kjironman1 has said; it has been entertaining to read! Lol.)

:biglaugh:

Best post of the thread!

Okay. North of I-84 side we have Irving with multiple courts, but it can get busy and a little chaotic. We have Alberta with a big court or two halvsies, and @HailBlazers help me out here, there's the court at Peninsula (one end of the court has nothing to stop the ball from rolling into the street and with the number of airballs for last time, I worry. Lol.)...where else...Wallace Park in NW used to be hoppin, but the courts there are small and weird and can get busy... I'm not helping am I...

@BonesJones, if it's okay with you how about this week we do Beaverton and then next time we play we'll let you choose a place in Vancouver or up near the border?

Peninsula is till shorter for you than me.
