Offense, defense, passing. Nothing too important

You seriously think any of that will be improved by playing in 3-5 games in which scrubs are playing for their livelihood, and are willing to throw their bodies around just to get noticed by a team in Europe? Practicing with the team will accomplish the same. Again we are just talking about a few games.

and where has it been said that he won't be playing against competition this summer? There all sorts of pro leagues around during the summer for players to get in some competition.
bingo, he and Leonard will be in LA playing against established pro's I bet!

Yes. A few games for him to improve

I have no doubt that Lillard will make sure players will be doing what is necessary to get players in situations to improve their game.

can you think of any other way that he can improve?
Practice will help.

Zach in exit meeting said he going split time between Portland and Las Vegas. But of course LA is not far from Vegas I guess he could wind up there too.

Im thinking because his dad is a coach he will probably help with his summer routine.
Once he obtains fairly consistent confidence along with bulking up some, he's going to be a beast, playing with vets during the off season will help in that regard.

Do you believe Simons/Trent/Skal/Collins are the future of the team? Then put them on the court together and see how they actually mesh. Even if it is just a few games against scrubs and rookies, that's more value than teams usually get from summer league.

Collins and Simons are the only guys who will be real rotation players/eventual starters. Play them in pre-season together more if this is an issue.

I see Zach the starting 4 next year and you might see Aminu slide to the small forward position if they resigned him. Because I believe they will trade Harkless this summer or they my trade him and 25th on Thursday.

Damn people are amazing high on Anfernee off of ONE game. I like him, a lot, but you guys gotta temper that a bit.
I think he will be good for close to 8-10PPG off the bench next season. He’s gonna get Curry’s minutes. I don’t expect him to be great but I do expect some offense.

Simons has to show me can play defense there know doubt he can score so that what I will be watching this summer if he going to try to play some type of D. I know summer league and I no one plays D but it might give me confidence for next year.

I think Trent can get a shot off whenever he wants, inside or outside. He has a game similar to VanVleet from the Raptors. IMO

Not so sure I agree. There is often pretty good D played....by the guys who can't score. They are out there hustling and hacking away trying to be noticed. To me it is the offense that is frustrating to watch in summer league.

I fuckin wish lol

Trent seems more like a Nick Young type

Trent is much taller and a sg but they both play off the dribble and like to shoot. Decent defenders too.

I hate Trent as a player.
I’d rather have WB4.
Trent is definitely a guy who could be playing in the g-league very soon. But with our wings? Maybe he gets some run next season, someone has to stretch the floor.

We got:
PG Simons
SG Trent
SF Little
PF: SKals?
C. ?
For summer league starting lineup.
