Quick -- is he just trying to break a possible story without breaking it or just teasing fans / speculating on stuff --- i would love Ibaka

Trying not to be too stalkerish (too late) but I don't see any private jets landing in PDX soon. There was just one that came in from Scottlsdale an hour ago. Would be really stupid to travel like this now during Covid.

Ellebe mentioned his contract will be taken care of this weekend, so we’ll find out soon whether it’s a two way or not. Swapping Mario for Kanter, we still have plenty of openings regardless.

So, Toronto, Houston, Chicago, Miami, or Portland?

I was being facetious, but if we're playing the game.....

I don't think there'd be a need to fly to Toronto, as that's his current team.

Houston also has yellow as a team color, and there is no yellow in the hat.

Chicago, maybe. But they suck, so no.

Miami, I cannot rule out because they are good, and even when they're not.... why wouldn't you consider Miami.

So, I'd say Miami or Portland. Favor, Miami.

Wood or Ibaka?hmm

OK, what we know now is that Portland could have got Kanter and the 30th pick if they had wanted to use their trade exception. This hopefully means they've got higher hopes for that exception.

Or they really wanted to get rid of Hezonja, badly, or open that space up. Or all three.

Could also just be a reference to Kanter, since there was some back-and-forth grievances aired last year after he ended up in Boston...
Casey is not usually this up in arms about stuff. Don't think Kanter alone would warrant this kinda reaction. His recent tweets:

Putting my $ on Aldridge. S&T w/ Whiteside.

Aldridge is a better guess than Kanter, I doubt anyone even remembers that back and forth and if they do it isn’t significant enough. Holdahl is probably just fucking around tho.

What? They USED the exception to get Kanter.

The deal would've been Kanter + 30 for 2-seconds. Portland got Mephis to give up the 2nds and to take Mario to get the #30,
