the heat seemed to like him, especially his attitude

This actually makes a good expiring(team option) contract to match salaries. That's smart from Riley.

Does that mean Ibaka isn't going to Miami

I'm happy for Meyers. Met him once and he could not have been a nicer person. He and his wife (and dog) seem like very content, decent people who are just looking to enjoy life.

He wasn't what we were hoping for from a lotto pick, but in today's world that's secondary. He's clearly worked hard to remain relevant in one of the most competitive job markets in the entire world and good things have happened for him. Good things need to happen for people who put good out into the world (especially when it doesn't affect our salary cap situation!)

Can we stop pretending like deals haven't already been agreed to? Just announce them already geez.

Looks like the BAE for the Lakers, so they still have the MLE....

Could also just be a reference to Kanter, since there was some back-and-forth grievances aired last year after he ended up in Boston...

I see I'm not the only one who thinks this is what Dame's tweet was referring to. Jamie Hudson of NBC Sports suggested the same, but it's highly likely I am her source.

But I'd take LMA back for the right deal.

Fuck Wesley Matthews.

why?

because he gave all he could while on the floor for Portland; was the Blazers glue guy; was a great two way player whose defense on Harden was key to beating the Rockets in the playoffs; was hustling hard when he blew out his Achilles; never got an offer from Portland but had a good enough agent to land him a max deal with Dallas....? is that why "fuck" him?

Because Laker-hatred trumps all?
