CJ/Collins for Bamba/OPJ and their 2 Lottery picks. :D

Might as well :auto:

*Hunter Dickinson
*Sharife Cooper
*Luka Garza
*Corey Kispert

^ Are very interesting prospects. Cooper is a p&r nightmare - a true PG.

Luka Garza continues to put up monster numbers - also leads the country in numerous advanced categories. His mobility is a big question mark though.

Who are you keeping tabs on?

Cooper’s measurements:

6’3.5” w/o shoes
6’4.75” w/ shoes

He’s been listed at 6’0”-6’1” so this is mind boggling — I’m betting it’s a mixup/mistake

Here's a game: are we going to acquire a pick, and if so whose?

Thinking of becoming an off-season OKC/Houston fan. I love the draft, and those guys own all of the picks.

New Orleans has FOUR second round picks! Do I remember right that they changed the rule and you can't just buy them any more? Anyone?

I'm looking at him on video and the only way he's taller than six foot is if they're counting the very tippy-top of the afro. Seems like this year's Kira Lewis, from a cursory glance, and I'd kind of like to get more 6'8" and above guys.

Come on, now. You know perfectly well that Neil won't trade Ant except under extreme circumstances.

That being said, thanks for the note, I'll look into Cooper.

Cooper and Ant are different players anyway. Cooper is an actual point guard. What’s his expected draft range?

You can still purchase picks.
NBA only allows teams to send up to $5M annually as part of 'cash considerations'.
The issue is that the asking price of the picks generally now exceed the cash amount teams can send out.

Portland on draft night

I like it. Off-season bandwagon.

How about undrafted, for those teams with a stupid GM?

I mentioned earlier, Gonzaga's Drew Timme is expected to go undrafted, being slotted 10+ spots beyond the end of the 2nd round. He should be able to slide between PF and C, and be a reliable, no frills contributor for years to come. Ignoring Kanter's offensive shortcomings in the playoffs, we've seen the value of an uber-reliable big off the bench.

Timme stayed at Zaga

I expect Neil to be in the game big time on draft night. I think during the draft will be the best time to move CJ in a trade straight across for a forward that fits this team's needs better or in a multi-team deal that nets us the same thing. I don't care if we come away with draft rights to anyone because young guys aren't what we need right now but Neil better address our needs on draft night/day.

I love the Draft too. One request of the NBA. It's 2021, Can we please stop giving a traded draft pick the wrong hat. If he's traded, give him the hat of the team he's actually going too. So freaking dumb.

2nd round picks are available for cash, so if Neil finds a prospect he likes, and is available, he should be able to acquire a pick.

I swear to fucking Lord if this team drafts, signs or even brings in to training camp, a tall WABC I will lose my shit
