At the moment Wright is not predicted to be drafted. He is 6 foot tall. Have we found the new Blevins!?!?

Analyzing stocks - I’m shifting focus to one prospect:

Josh Giddey

The best passer in the draft - with CJ likely on the move we need depth of actual playmakers aside from Dame.

There are a number of intriguing players that could be available with a later 2nd round pic, (Pels have 4 2nd rounder) or an UDFA that could pique interest.

I am really liking Neemias Queta. He’s an athletic 7 foot center who erase shots at the rim. He catch lobs. Been improving at free throw, 70% on 4.8 attempt a game. A huge improvement from 56.5% on 3.9 attempt during his freshman season. A great rebounder. A decent passer with 2.7 assist a game. His post game can be improve. Little slow to guard the quicker guards. But overall can make an instant impact with his defense. Watching DeAndre Ayton dominate make me really want an athletic center who is somewhat a throwback back

I would even be happy with Jalen Green. We get either of them, tank next year. Draft Chet Holmgren. Trade CJ and Nurk for players that compliment Cade/Green and Chet well. We could have 2 generational players to build around
Detroit would be dumb as hell to trade for Dame lol

Uhh not really. The Pelicans not only got a potential game changing player in Zion but also Ingram and Lonzo with ton of picks for Davis. Dame for Cade is a very good trade. Detroit would love to have Dame. They have some vets in Grant and Plumlee to go alongside their young players. Dame would instantly help them have their best seasons in a long time

Presser over, nba draft is 1 month away: 7/29/21
Blazers don't have a pick, but I'd be surprised if we didn't obtain a 2nd rounder.

if we are tanking I want jalen Green and two years later Emoni Bates

I thought Dame had a no-trade clause, but that’s not the case. Ship him to Cleveland if he starts whining about a trade this summer.

Elite shooter - his stock is rising: 6’7” with a 6’11” wingspan, solid athlete.

Was my 2nd round target, now it looks like we’d have to sneak into the first round to nab him.

If Wieskamp is out of reach I’d focus on RaiQuan Gray.

Built like a tank (6’8” 270) and is legitimately a good passer/handles as a small-ball center. Super sleeper pick.

Garza dropped 30lbs but I believe we can still swoop him up as an undrafted FA and take a Summer League flier on him.

I'm hoping we get into the second round and draft Jericho Sims. He's a big that can run and jump out of the gym.

“We have Gray listed as a power forward, assuming that’s one of the roles he’ll play in the league, but he’s such a versatile player that it’s hard to list him at just one position. Gray can bring the ball up the court and facilitate the offense. He’s got great handles for a 260+ pound player and he’s got a lightening quick first step, which allows him to blow by defenders with the bounce.

His scoring is mostly done going to the basket where he uses his size and quickness to explode into the lane for layups or put up runners from mid range. He’s not much of an outside shooter and 3pt shooting will be a major swing skill for him at the next level.

Gray has an incredibly strong frame and can hold his own in the paint against bigger/taller players. He’s an explosive leaper who can sky for rebounds or put-back slams.

Gray has shown major improvement over the past few years, becoming one of FSU’s most consistent and impactful players. He hasn’t gotten a lot of NBA draft hype but he’s on team’s radars and has a unique skill set that could translate well to the NBA.”

I like him because he led the nation in blocks AND defensive box plus-minus!
