Very intriguing defensively.Usman.

It's pretty remarkable how many parallels there are with Duarte and Francisco Garcia.
Both from the Dominican Republic and are going to enter the league at age 24. Nearly identical size and even play a very stylistically similar game. Cisco was a better creator in college, but didn't see that translate to the NBA game. Slightly better stocks guy than Chris as well.
Why does the board follow the finals every year when Portland hasn't been in one in decades?

Stylistically, not statistically.Duarte - 17.1 PPG - 53% from the field - 42% from 3's on 5.5 Attempts
Garcia - 15.7 PPG - 44% from the field - 37% from 3's on 5.1 Attempts
not sure what "stocks" are, but statistically I don't see the parallels. One guy is a good outside threat, the other is elite

If you don't want to follow the draft, fine don't. Why are you in this thread? Thats a real question.why does someone watch an actual game? Is that a real question?
Ok here’s who I want: Neemias Queta.
One thing I've learned over the past half-decade: you literally cannot go wrong by picking the Villanova guy. I wanted Jalen Brunson over Anfernee (jury's out), would have been happy with Eric Paschall, and ecstatic with Saddiq Bey. So this year, if we somehow end up with a highish second-rounder, I want Jeremiah Robinson-Earl.
When was our last NAIA player? Was it Jerome?EJ Onu over Queta if you go that route.
One of the all-time leading shot-blockers in NCAA history who is also a legitimate shooter. His outside jumper steadily improved - senior year he took a career-high in attempts (4) per game and shot 40%
6’11”
7’9” wingspan
9’6” reach
Those are Gobert-like numbers.

I was thinking more Billy Madison playing dodgeball, but basically the same idea.Reminds me of when Kramer was "dominating the dojo"
JT Thor has the best body in the draft. Dunno anything about the rest of his game.
According to this, it might be a good thing that the Blazers are sitting out the draft:

He probably agrees with Hedo Turkoglu on the Toronto vs. Portland issue.Ujuri is available.
i've been repeatedly saying this here for about two months now ever since Windhorst mentioned that their ownership offered him an extension, but he hasn't yet signed it. I think he's gonna do their draft and bounce before the FA season starts (really curious where he ends up, was thinking NY but the CAA crew there seem to have stabilized things). Timing is dicey considering how much roster turnover is expected in Toronto.Ujuri is available.
Neil Looking better according to graph. Doesn't surprise me on Presti. With all those picks , he will be able to disguise his mediocrity.According to this, it might be a good thing that the Blazers are sitting out the draft:

Interesting to see Presti so low. All those draft picks, too...
It doesn't appear that they have given any weight to where the pick was taken. Missing on the #10 pick hurts a lot more than missing on the #50 pick. Conversely, hitting on the #50 pick is a lot more impressive than hitting on the #10.According to this, it might be a good thing that the Blazers are sitting out the draft:

But then, hitting on the #50 pick is almost pure luck.It doesn't appear that they have given any weight to where the pick was taken. Missing on the #10 pick hurts a lot more than missing on the #50 pick. Conversely, hitting on the #50 pick is a lot more impressive than hitting on the #10.
...& now SIIt seems the Ringer agrees with us:
