There actually is a big difference. I’ve listened to many podcasts where former and current players have said that the time you arrive in cities like LA and Miami matters. The earlier they arrive, the more time they get to settle in and make plans for the evening. If they arrive later at night, the more likely they will just go to the hotel.

Learn how to read my guy. These are not my thoughts and opinions. As I CLEARLY STATED in the post, this is what I’ve heard former and current players say on various podcasts. So if you’re telling me players like Matt Barnes, Stephen Jackson, JJ Reddick, etc are lying for some reason then that’s a different story.

First of all, my original post/statement was in jest and hyperbole since it was right when the game began. So maybe understand the context before you interject with your thoughts and opinions. It is a common joke to say that when teams have extra time in cities like LA and Miami that it gives players more time to explore the “night time” activities that these cities have to offer more so than other cities in the league. And the fact that this particular game was 7 hours earlier than normal would make it even more relevant.

Secondly, please explain to me how I present this as my opinion. I clearly say that this is what I’ve heard former and current players say in various podcasts. This is not my opinion. I’m merely reporting what I’ve heard on these podcasts. Apparently you don’t understand what an opinion is.

Like I said, I don’t know why players like Matt Barnes, Stephen Jackson, JJ Reddick and the players that have appeared on their podcasts would lie about something like this. But if they are then that’s another story.

Just let that sink in a bit. I am not knocking it or applauding it.

it would take you 783 years to earn what Westbrook is making this season

I can be all for your optimism but this team needs time and they only got a week left before the season. I notice you don't have a post in the prediction thread? Why is that?
Mine is in there for all to see. I went an optimistic 41-41 making the playin.
I'm on record here saying this first 20 games are crucial. They need to figure it out and try to be around .500 to stay in this season. There will be no coming back from 5-15 or worse.
If you can't see Chauncey Billups looks lost out there so far then I simply don't know what to tell you?

Yes it's pre season but they just got blown out completely by 4 NBA teams.

Here is another point. I just watched the Lakers vs T-wolves. Both of those teams not only played their starters relatively similar minutes but they played well and competed. Both of those teams would walk all over the Blazers at this point from what i have seen.
