If Simons is having a bad game, what is Dame having? This is almost unprecidented.
It’s all bad so far but something tells me the sixers are going to let them back in this game?

Dame with a terrible half...Ant with a terrible half...Nurkic was a ghost

in the last 6 quarters in the starting C matchup, Blazers have been outscored 53-6; the other C's have shot 20-28

Blazers halftime show ended by saying "It could've been worse."

That being a possibilty doesn't make me feel better.

I'm not phased. It's a good place to be in. Nothing to worry about. :)

Barring a miracle comeback, I think you can move me over into the fire Chauncey crowd.

This team is getting worse, not better. The offense looks like something Nate McMillan would throw out there, and the defense isn't making up for it in any way. There's no identity, at all.

I'm not sure there's a coach out there that could make this better, but Billups seems pretty far out of his depth.

I'm also really exploring potential trades for Nurk. I don't know if we can find any that we'll get anything worth making the deal, but he's gotten too comfortable in Portland to where he's stagnated. He's like the Blazers in microcosm: You don't know what you're going to see from night to night. Well. except for fouls and generous helpings of Eubanks.

The only positive is that Michael Holton seems to have gotten comfortable as the analyst. He's letting his personality show a lot more; I didn't realize it was even him for a while.

Hart has now rejected 2 open three's and an open fastbreak layup in the first 2:30 of the 3rd quarter.

this is over.

trash ass team.

trash ass coaching.

why do i try to buy into the hope every fucking year

its hilarious to me how if we do good no one says anything in these games but the games we play like shit everyones got something to say....

It's maddening, especially after he made that first 3. Then it's back to "pass up the open 3, ball fake, drive and do nothing."

He reminds me of the point guard I coached who was really caught up in getting everyone involved in the offense and forgot he was part of "everyone."

Hart's Eagle Scout leader appeared to be smoking the good stuff.

Exactly... Not being a threat to shoot can be one of the most selfish things, even if unintentional.

We've gotten to the point where just to be competitive, Dame has to play perfect. When he has an off-night, we're sunk. We're really bad when Dame's not playing Superman.

I like Michael Holton silently calling out the Blazers
