I don't know if it had anything to do with it, but he knows he was offered up in trade talks. No way could Cronin have been making an offer for "difference makers" without including Anf.
Even his body language has looked off imo. A bit disgruntled.

Does anyone still think that Watford can't be a solid rotation player on a good team?

There have been some pretty disparaging comments about him in here, idk, maybe because he wasn't drafted and people have to have the hype out of college.... He's always passed the eye test with me and is looking more solid all the time, like a guy that could make the 2nd unit click.
I really like the kid. The one thing he does that drives me crazy thought is sometimes he seems more worried about boxing out then getting the rebound. He will be boxing someone out and someone will scoot right in front of him to get the board. If he would just go for the rebound sometimes.

Yeah, he has some "rookie" moments like missing bunnies etc. but he is really well-rounded and improving. The high post distribution thing is invaluable.

The instincts needed in the NBA will come, just glad he has the fundamentals to work off of.

Oh Lord. Is the new Blazer an antivaxxer?
Why don't you take the time to read up on him. He's a thoughtful guy who grew up with different medical approaches.

Of course, labeling someone is always a nice heuristic rather than actually giving it any thought.

Thinking independently and talking nonsense are not the same thing.
Exactly what did he say that was nonsense? He took the first shot because the CDC stated that it kept others from getting infected with COVID. He stated he did so out of communal good. Once the research showed that it merely lessened the symptoms, his health decisions came from a different tradition, so he chose other ways to keep himself healthy.

You may not agree with his line of thinking, but he's entitled to his opinion. It wasn't an unconsidered one.

It's been almost 3 years and it's just at a point where people are where they are in relation to their stance on vaccines and such.

I've known a lot of people who have evolved on this same trajectory (took the shot, then later on didn't because of this same scientific look). I still choose to get the vaccine but this line of thinking makes sense to me so I can't fault them.

The crazy conspiracy theory ones I can't get behind as reasoning to not take it though. Lol. That's just being brainwashed. If you want to look at the scientific stuff and reasonably say "hmm"... Totally understand.

Thybulle seems like a really thoughtful dude.

I think that's what has me cheesed about candrc's response. Just the assumption he was just some knee-jerk conspiracy theorist. I read a few articles where he explained his position, and it was reasoned.

What happened to his Australian accent @DUB ?
In reading up on him, he moved to the North Shore of Sydney (and if you've never been, it's FREAKING PARADISE) when he was to and moved to Sammamish when he was nine. My guess is any accent he acquired faded over the years. You can still hear a slight trace of one, at least to my ear, it's just very faint.

Australia is on my bucket list. Has been since I was a kid.

They say you can get killed by so many things but if that's where I get taken out, there's a lot worse places.

Such a talented kid. His ceiling is only limited by what's between his ears. If he embraces Dame's approach to the game and learns to grind, we have an absolute steal.

I dont know how he doesn't adopt Dames mindset. Dude seems like a sponge. Keep quiet and do the work.

I admit I was wrong about shaedon in the aspect that his growth is undeniable and this game is one of the highlights of his overall maturation. Didn't see him getting as many minutes as I thought but I'm glad he is.

He has a very interesting connection to the team…. His mom is best friends lot very close friends with one of our flight attendants that worked for Mr.Allen for years! She was our head flight attendant on Blazer1. So she’s know this kid his whole life and swears he’s the best. Down to earth, quality family. Small world.

I want to go in the west coast. Just saw a movie filmed there with Simon Pegg called Kill Me Three Times. Water looks amazing.

It’s ironic after her comments towards me about weight loss in the wheels thread.

Oh my. Maxie is unhappy. I didn't, if you can read, label, I asked.
I have no problem with different approaches if they are fact based.

Yeah he didn’t live here very long, and it was a long time ago; but his very first memories are of Australia, so it will always hold a special place in his heart.

One of these days I want to take my wife to where they shot the movie I was talking about, Kill Me Three Times.

I haven't been to Western Australia since I was kid. My parents took me out of school, and we spent two months caravanning around the state; it was a great adventure. The ocean at Margaret River is the most beautiful shade of aqua, the likes of which I'd never seen before, and I've never seen since.

If i come down there, we gotta’ meet up, you me and my guy Patty Mills will catch a Footy match!

i cringe at a lot of what he said because he sorta parroted the rhetoric about vaccines that people who don't understand say: if you get a vaccine, why can you still get sick?

but i looked it up and it turns out his mother before she passed was a naturopathic doctor in the seattle area. even as a scientist who contributes towards the discovery/development of allopathic medicines, i sorta see the merits of homoeopathy and naturopathy.

our bodies are designed to maintain a state of homeostasis to an extent. while the triggers of our current environment are not exactly suitable to this kinda treatment for most issues, it does come with fewer adverse effects. it is what it is and thankfully, his rationale is based mostly on how he was raised rather than nonsense he picked up on facebook.

i dunno... trying to rationalize it, but at the end of the day, he's a basketball player.

also one distinction, he never truly was anti-vax. just refused it.

ehhhh... not really. he mostly just used the rationale about how he was raised and his background. which is fine.

pretty much everything he said about vaccines and what they're intended to do was wrong.

Everyone has the right to free speech, sure. But that doesn't mean exempt from criticism.

Homeopathy has no scientific basis. It has failed every objective test. Not even sure what naturopathy is but a couple is on trial for the death of their baby because they were naturopaths and fed only fruit to a newborn.

Vaccines save lives.

Someone who refuses vaccines is putting others at risk.

Someone who refuses vaccines and spouts disproven nonsense is antivaxxer.

Denying facts isn't independent thinking. The world is round. The moon landing happened. So did Nazi Holocaust. Trump lost the 2020 election. Facts
