The worst Clippers and Wolves teams you've seen in your lifetime?
I remember when the Clips played in the Sports Arena (literally walking distance from where I was at school) and their best player was Pooh Richardson... And I actually went to a Clippers-Wolves game because Terry Porter was playing for the Wolves.

Remember Shaedon early season, he's just standing in the corner not doing much. Boy he's playing like a legit starter now. Simply amazing

I think Simons is gone this summer.
Unless there is a no brainer offer, I’m certain this team would be happy to trot out Dame/Ant/Shae as a trio and hope not to be last in defense again.

Hmmm…… maybe? The clippers have a ton of talent. They shouldn’t be this bad. They might be the worst clippers TEAM in my lifetime.

Amazing take... not the worst I've seen in my lifetime, but in the running.

The Clippers need a name change. Their color scheme & uniforms have nothing to do with majestic sailing ships. Name made sense in San Diego, but not LA. Their uniforms have that kinda LA street art style. Maybe LA Cruisers . Doesn't Leonard have a custom low rider.

Is Kevin Knox a keeper? He's certainly impressed me more than Cam Reddish. He's BIG, too.
Totally agree. The change of scenery has brought the best out in him. He's still young. If he was doing this against other team's end of benchers, i wouldn't be as high on his performance. But it has been against some of the best players in the League.

Knox has done ok since he's been here, but not ready to say he is going to be a stud for us in the long term either. Dude was 9th overall pick, and still hasn't even came close to that so far. Could he do so with us? Fuck knows.

The range of opinion on these guys is pretty amazing. People wanted Walker playing consistent role minutes to start the season. Earlier this week, there was push back to the idea that Watford should only be a situational backup.
I’m just not sold on either of them. I want a solid team 1-10 at least.

Nobody is saying a stud. But he has game, and is better than many past Blazers that were in the rotation. It's about depth. The Blazers haven't had any for many a year. Since the WCF run with Kanter, Hood, and Curry in my estimation. Maybe the Blazers have found some depth.

Fair enough if the thinking is that he will be a depth guy not to slot in as a starter.

Like you, I'm unwilling to proclaim I've seen enough from Knox, Reddish, Eubanks, Watford, or Walker to say they are deserving of regular minutes on a contending team. Certainly they could get regular minutes on a contending team, but it would require the rest of the roster to be loaded IMO.

Dame, Grant, Ant, Sharpe, and probably Nurk are the only 5 players on this roster who I could see getting regular minutes on a contending team without requiring an abnormally loaded roster around them.

Going to game tomorrow. And i'm looking forward to it. But did anybody notice Shaedon came up a little lame before he was taken out for the last time. Hopefully it's just a bumped knee.

Didnt' they say on TV that he got kicked?

Walker needs a lot of work. But i think he has the skillset to be a valuable role player off the bench in the future. Watford gets better all the time. I definitely see him in the top 10 and a regular rotation guy. We are just talking role, and latter end of rotation and bench here. Knox and Mays can be valuable to Blazers depth going forward, IMO.

I think you are a little blinded by that summer league MVP trophy.
He’s going to play somewhere but not sure it needs to be for Portland.

I admit I can get a little blinded. but it sure as hell is not from the summer league. I tend to like PFs who can handle the ball and pass. It can only benefit his teammates.
The fact that he has range on his shot and can finish at the basket seals it for me. He constantly puts pressure on the D. He still has things to work on but Watford certainly has a solid skill set in a position of need.

One thing i will give the Clippers credit for, is Westbrook is really playing more in control, and taking better shots. I didn't see any of his normal ridiculous posturing, and poor shot taking. His shots were in the flow of the game. He played smart basketball today.

Obviously Knox, Watford and Eubanks are nowhere near the likes of Sam Hauser, Grant Williams, Georges Niang, Jelen McDaniels, Bruce Brown, Pat Connaughton, Cedi Osman, David Roddy, Trey Lyles, Robert Convington....

That might the worst take I've seen in my lifetime!
Is that some new hip lingo that the kids are using for the best take you have seen in your lifetime? Like good is bad and bad is good?

Are you for real on this one. Hauser, nice 3 pt shooter, don't see anything else. Grant Williams, another 3 pt. shooter , but nothing else that stands out. Niang same. Bruce Brown is the only one of those guys who provides more than shooting.

That's my point! These are the backup forwards on the contending teams in the NBA and people in here are suggesting our group is end of the bench.

Interesting group of guys to compare them with. Some are role players on abnormally good teams. Some get DNPs on good team.

Covington is better than all the guys I listed and he gets some DNPs on a team who will be on the road in the first round.

They're not end of the bench on a non-playoff team.
