I feel like there’s a misunderstanding about being hard capped. You guys are acting like we have more flexibility if we aren’t hard capped yet. That doesn’t matter. The only thing that matters is at the end of the day, if you trigger the hard cap, you have to have a minimum of 13 players and you can’t exceed the hard cap for any reason. So unless we are planning on trading someone like Hart for a pick, we can’t really do much. We have to free up space to make any moves.
Yeah that’s probably true. The main issue is going to be filling roster spots because we would probably need to send out multiple guys to match salary and then we would need to fill those empty spots. I think it’s most likely that we are done. It’s totally hypothetical, but let’s say Cronin does one trade trade that ends up just over the apron and another that pushes it back below, as long as those two deals are processed by the league before Payton is signed, it looks to me like the MLE could still be used.
Have some examples of this possibility? What deals can we make before? I’m not sure we could. They’d have to be making vet mins.More likely, we’d send out some of our young prospects and take back fillers to keep the roster at 13 or more.
I think Ant might be better than him but that's at PG. At SG Ant hasn't shown shit, so that's the question that has to be answered and the truth is all of my pissing and moaning might be for nothing because if Ant can be as effective at SG as he was at PG in January and February, then he's on a good deal.WOW.
193 mil for Garland.
Is he that much better than Ant, even with the All Star selection?
Oh yeah, I was thinking more like a trade for someone big like Simmons or Durant. Players that make a lot of money.
Way to much for OG A...just my opinion

I’m sure you’re right.I think reality is more of a cap for those types of players than the apron is.
Nets want harris included. Lakers want SethNobody talking about Kyrie possibly on his way to the Lakers?
Not from us, I hope. OK, what I meant to say is Philly can give him to us for free. They are the ones who need for this deal to go through.a 2nd rounder, sure.
Suns just signed three minimum guys today.
Okogie just now. Seems like theyre prepping for a moveLee....re-signed Biyombo. Traded for Landale...what else did I miss?
These guys don't think it's close: Garland crafted OPM 95th percentile, Anf 86th; Anf better in the shooting categories but Garland better in most others, especially passing and creating.I think Ant might be better than him but that's at PG. On defense Garland with only a 44th percentile DPM but Anf in the lowest percentile, 1. Garland far superior in creating deflections and turnovers and not fouling.

That's true, but those stats are from last year with Billups as coach. I'm not really optimistic about him or Lillard improving substantially on D.Something like every team since 2000 except 1 was in the Top-10 in defense. Hopefully Chauncey can teach Ant some things.....and it can't really get worse, can it?

So for those of us with pieces of brain missing, who does Bledsoe’s contract look attractive to and why?
any team that wants to pay a 33 year old backup PG 19M
Paul’s window is closing. If they got Durant they’d have a legit shot.Okogie just now. Seems like theyre prepping for a move
