I understand the excitement and frustration coming from this forum tonight. We all have different opinions and expectations on what Sharpe should be accomplishing tonight, and ultimately in the long run, but it is his first game as a pro and his first in a long while. He was never gonna come in and be ready in the first game no matter how much we wanted that to happen. Possible? Sure. Plausible? Not likely. It’s gonna take some time for him to blossom. People are freaking out cause he’s sitting but down there on the bench, but amongst the team I’m certain it’s just not a big deal. It’s one game. It’s the first game. They have a lot of time to let him come into his own. Our expectations and opinions on what we thought should happen tonight are just that, expectations and opinions. Sharpe gonna be alright. And I fully believe he will ultimately live up to his capabilities. Breathe y’all.

It's summer league. It doesn't matter either way. The dude hasn't played since high school.
If he played majority of the game and went 0-15 with 5 TOs we would be disappointed but we'd all understand. The kid needs minutes to develop. But getting hurt 5 mins into your first summer league game and sitting the rest of the game is a different type of concern.

I think it's less concern and more disappointment. And the lack of any word on it is probably the worst part about it.

The good news if he’s out for a while is I can go to sleep

LMAO Boomer response.

Not a Boomer, I'm just a man who can admit he was wrong. A part of being a man actually is owning up to mistakes. I can't recall the substance at the moment, but I remember many, many times you've been dead wrong beyond a shadow of a doubt, got called out, and wouldn't admit it. So yeah, if you read most everyone's comments we almost all, already admitted we missed it and/or were wrong about it. So again, perhaps learn some humility and admit when you make a mistake. Even once would be a breath of fresh air.

Shitty first half

Or, it could just be being EXTREME caution because it's summer league, and if it was a slight ding, they don't need to risk anything worse. It stinks when we're excited to watch him play, but I'd rather see him healthy for regular season minutes than watch him dominate summer league.

Eh.......... I don't see how we're going to justify giving him regular season minutes if the dude has never played.

Wow, dude. It doesn't require such a long, thorough response. It ain't that serious. Lol I feel like you have me confused with someone else.

I think everyone agrees with this. Just pretty fucking lame when we obviously are disappointed and people are trying to tell us we can't be.

Nobody thinks this game defines his career. We will all live to see him another day. Just sucks having to wait.

Out for the rest of SL or just tonight?

he didn’t seem to be favoring his shoulder on the bench. He was just kind of sitting there.
