Im disappointed in it, but I want to wait until they make an announcement about the injury. Hearsay, conjecture and "I've heard" is a waste of energy.
Yeah, I have no idea and am expecting him to still get some good playing time and experience in Vegas. He didn't have ice on the shoulder and was leaning forward with his elbows on his knees, when he was sitting on the bench while ESPN was simultaneously showing that on their broadcast and reporting that he was being evaluated for the injury.

we dont deserve this guy

I know I’m hard on Dame but this dude is a real one..

We will never have somebody like him again..

If Sharpe was about that life, he woulda said “I’m good, let me back in and stfu”

It’s all good tho. Just tells u we need more work to do.. this shy boy ain’t it

I bet they are just being cautious, they have MRI machines there, I don’t believe he was gone long enough to take one. Sucks but the season is over 3 months away, no one should lose sleep or call in sick tomorrow over this.
doubt they have an MRI in the arena.

One would assume if the team was concerned that he had a serious injury (separated, torn, etc) his ass would be in the locker room getting prepared for dealing with it.

I mean if we come back and beat these guys its definitely an upset

Say what you will about the Sharpe situation… If we expect meaningful contribution out of Watford, you’d look for him to be dominant in SL.

I’ve contemplated the sick call because of this actually

Im willing to bet that the NBA would not allow their billion dollar franchises to play games involving lotto picks, in a place that doesn't have an MRI available at the arenas.

Lillard deserves better

Brandon Williams averaged 15ppg game in March when we were trying to lose, and is putting up 5 pts in 3 quarters in summer league we're trying to win!

You don't have at least a basic expectation that they follow the game?
That's what I hate. They don't. Which makes it very hard for me to know who is doing what. They just run off at the mouth about everything but the game.

Doris Burke does the same thing during the regular season. Talks nonstop but never about the game in front of her. I used to like Doris but nowadays I have to mute her.

I mean, if they think watching the players and the games is less important than some completely unrelated thought about some random whatever, why do they broadcast the games?

Are you inferring this SL team is better than our regular season team last year?

3-21 from beyond the arc and are down a couple of scores.

I think with Sharpe out and the ridiculous announcing, we all think we're losing by 20. It could still happen, but it's not there yet :)

He's a klutz. Moves way to fast. He didn't look this bad last year during the season.

think you'd be surprised. i don't think there's one in Moda either.

A brutal beginning for Sharpe. He was slow on defense laterally, and he looked to be thinking, instead of playing. His one bright spot was that pretty turn around jumper, but that was it. It's early, but c'mon man! He just looked so stiff tonight.

These guys should be playing better than this.

You don’t know what love is. You’re a mod.
Mods don’t love anyone.

It feels like there may be no spotter tonight... like when Marc Jones said, "Great play..." after a Piston blocked a Blazers on the break.

Which Piston? Which Blazer?

Don't know. I didn't want to rewind the game and Jones sure didn't lend any insight.

Can’t believe Jerami Grant was Dame’s #1 priority.

this is a college arena.

most arenas have xrays, hardly any NBA ones have an mri.
Seems to me they could easily get an MRI machine in there for Summer League, too many players in one place to not have all the medical equipment they could need. Maybe I’m wrong but I think at worst it’s 50/50 on one being there. Also if it was feared to be bad he wouldn’t sit on the bench, they would take him somewhere to be examined, somewhere with an MRI.

If you're going to think about it logically, you might think it's a mix of rust and nerves. If you're @AldoTrapani you're sure that it means he's a bust.
