I was listening to the radio guys and must have mistaken...I stand correctedHe's sitting on the bench.
He actually got taller since we've drafted him according to a couple articles I read...he's still growing..look at his arms and hands, he might end up 6 10 by next season (we can wish!)Wow, incredible that Rupert was full court pressing Olynyk on ball and didn’t look that small.
I really hope he pans out.
Scoot has 6 dimes but he's shot 14% in this game and 0% from deep.
not really shocking but more a continuation of his play before his injury as well. He's got a learning curve and I'm sure he'll sort it outIn his sixth NBA game after a long layoff....shocking.
I'll be happy with the 6'7 without shoes that I've been hearing. He's pretty much the same size as Joe Johnson. I'm very happy with that for a guard. He actually got taller since we've drafted him according to a couple articles I read...he's still growing..look at his arms and hands, he might end up 6 10 by next season (we can wish!)
Sorry everyone. I know this will get the mandatory Homer “He’s young. Give him time. It’s only been 5 games only 19,” responses but I simply don’t see anything from Scoot. I see nothing special and his shot is completely broken.

On a night where we win like this, Scoot’s issues are the least on my mind. Too many good things I saw tonight to care about Scoot’s shooting, that’ll work itself out. Some guys take time. I can see him being Derrick Rose in his prime type. With better passing.
But after watching this game for years. You can’t write off a player while he’s still in his teens and playing a position that is a hard adjustment.

We shot 51.1% from the field and 43.6% from three while they were 46.8% from the field and 32.3% from three. We had 13 turnovers and they had 21. Those stats alone should tell you how our team won. We shot really hot and we didn't turn the ball over.1. Scoot. Let’s be honest. He’s a waisted draft pick. (I put the “i” in there so that I always have a way out of my claim). I don’t believe it was a bad pick. Most say he’d have been #1 in drafts of not for Wemby. I agree with that.
2. Jesus. Looking at the box, I’m like “How these boys win?” Still scouring the box to see what makes sense in the “W”. But yeah. Doesn’t make add up overall but let’s take it.

I agree he doesn't suck, he's a physical beast. But if he doesn't rework the form on his J he's likely only reinforcing bad mechanics which limits his upside considerably.6 assists in 16 min: Scoot dont suck. Far from it. That is what this team has needed for YEARs. A guy that makes other Blazers’ game easier. He just needs reps and working on the shot
