Solid first half ..went toe to toe with the fastest team in the league and have a lead at half...not too shabby

I think spraining his ankle and returning as the backup PG might be the best thing to happen for Scoot. He looks a lot more relaxed and his pace fits the offense better

Haliburton is so good. Did not realize how fast he actually is. But he also knows how change pace to keep defenders guessing.

I think Haliburton is a good comp for Scoot. Haliburton didn’t come into the league with a consistent jumper but now is a sniper.

Nice player movement to set up that last shot. Especially nice that it was Camara making the shot.

Only 2 pages through the first half? Last night made people need a break, I think. Or the early start time.

Haliburton came in shooting over 40% on over 5 threes per game. In college he averaged 43% from 3. It's not a comparison.

Not sure if those numbers are for catch and shoot 3s or off the dribble 3s. I know he struggled with off the dribble 3s.

Scoot’s catch and shoot shots don’t look bad. It’s his off the dribble 3s that are problematic.

Don't double down when the comparison is just wrong.

Haliburton is in his 4th NBA seaso; and he spent two years at Iowa State. So then, in his 6th season, he has never shot under 40% from three. I don't think it matters how he gets those shots

but if it did, he's only assisted on 38.9% of his three's this season; 44.7% last season; 58.4% the year before. His shooting is staying elite even as he creates more shots for himself

Ayton drills the 14 footer. then the Blazers won't get him the ball like that again.

Instead Grant goes full Ball Hog.

Edit: Wow, nice setup from Brog to Camara to Ayton. Hope to see much more of that.

That was a bullshit turnover they gave to Ayton. He got a rebound going out of bounds and threw it back in and they reset the shot clock. This implied that he had possession while going out of bounds off one one foot. Fucking bullshit. That's a loose ball.

McConnell getting a lot of calls

wasn't expecting TJ Mcconnell being a lot better than Scoot before the season.

Are they even going to show what happened? Who's in charge of this ?

Can we just like....not play Duop?

Why doesn't Brogdan just take a 3-pointer??? He and Grant often pass up a 3-pointer for a very difficult 2-pointer.

I hope Scoot will be really good someday; right now he is hurting the team.

Haliburton shot nearly 41% from 3 on nearly 300 attempts as a rookie.
