Scoot is averaging 15 FGA per 36. Why does he take so many shots when he's not good at it?

Maybe he should watch some film if John Stockton....play a bit more like John till he settles down. He only averaged 10 per 36 and was very efficient.

Interesting that some here wanted to see Ant shoot less and other shoot more, yet Utah's strategy seems to imply they feel that is in their best interest.

Oh please. The whole team is shooting like shit.

Mama said they’ll be days like this

Utah has been in box and 1 all game on Ant and Shaedon yet there have been no adjustments.

Until he can prove to be a threat to score, he'll never have the passing windows Stockton has.

If there is a season for Scoot to take "too many" shots, it's this season.

Portland may have flubbed by taking Scoot at #3, but it looks like Camara may be just as good, or better, than Brandon Miller, who was taken at #2.

I much prefer the upside of Scoot over Miller even if both were available with the pick. The only guy I'd consider taking over Scoot is Amen. Even then I'm not sure sure.

Next game I expect they’ll come out lights out. Inconsistent young team

seriously let the man find his full rhythm, its gonna take time. I dont get what everyones rush for him...

Blazers not down 30 anymore. There's your Fred Meyer golden shopping cart happy stat of the night.

Very unselfish of Scoot to miss the layup so Sharpe could get his first bucket. And nice to see Sharpe going after the offensive rebound despite the score!

Hit a 3, steal the inbound pass, hit a 3, draw the foul, miss the ft, get the offensive rebound, dunk it, with a flagrant foul, hit both shots, Jazz get a t, hit the technical, hit another 3 on the upcoming play, steal the inbound pass, hit a 3, steal the inbound pass, hit a 3, then we'll be within striking distance down 10.

Jazz can't clear the bench, because they've all been in the game this entire time.

Settles down? What does that even mean? He needs to keep shooting to improve. You want to tell your #3 pick to shoot less because we're going to beat playoff team? Doesn't make much sense.

Calabro just said something that I think has some validity. Utah has seen us already, so anything that surprised them before isn't going to now. That makes me feel like the worst of the season might be ahead of us.

I think Jerami coming back should help a little but there needs to be way better player and ball movement on offense. Also I'm pretty sure both Jerami and Malcolm will be traded at some point. Bottom line we should be bracing ourselves.
