They'd be good shots for someone else...Didn’t watch but Scoot took 31 shots???? Were they good shots at least?

...and that's why you never get picked in pickup games.Michael Jordan had a post game quote once where he said as long as you score more points than shots attempted it was a good night. Always believed in that.
It was determined he PURPOSELY mislead his viewers on stock recommendations, for fun and personal profit, and apologized for it, but somehow still has the same gig. It’s more of a Wallstreet/investing joke. I had figured you older folk would know who he is lol.
Jim Cramer-Mad Money. He’s the crazy dude who screams about what stock he’s buying, suppose to be a guru. But the running joke is, you do the opposite of what he does, because the stocks he says to buy tanks after he says it, or takes off when he says it’s trash.
Buuuut now it’s not funny because I explained it.
And when they switched back to the game, there were players sprawled all over the floor, I had no idea what happened, and they didn't bother to describe or go back and show what we missed. It's par for the course with Blazers Broadcasting this year. Stupid pregame guesses about who will make the last basket, how many shots someone will take, or who's going to scratch their nuts first; cutting from live play for some boring meaningless Hammerblab take and any other non-game-related blather they can come up with; and the ever popular zooming in on a player or someone on the sideline, or even the folks in the studio joking around, while we miss the game. Also, I'm really sick of Hurd. Terry was such a welcome relief for me last night.Wow. Showing Brooke's pants during live play.
Who's running the show there?
He would have if he hadn't forced up an impossible shot attempt every time he drove into an impenetrable thicket under the basket, which was often, and had instead either passed or dribbled back out of danger. It's like he makes up his mind he's going hard to the rim and is incapable of facing reality and changing course before it's too late. A decent point guard needs to always have a Plan B. He's obviously not there yet.Scoot should have 10+ assists.
I’m not looking for defense. I’m looking for fans to just say,ya, it was a brutal shooting nighthe took mostly good shots; shots he HAD to take because there was no one else who could get better attempts. he missed them -- i even made a post remarking how he needs to focus on improving his finishing at the rim as his #1 priority for offseason work.
not sure what defense you are looking for.
i wasn't really criticizing you for only looking at the box like others have. most people can only handle so many 30pt+ losses in a row before giving up.
I have zero problem with how many shots he took. I was just pointing out how brutal his % wasI will. Our future possible star playing with most of the teams "best" players out? Shit he coulda shot 40 times last night MM and I'd have been happy. Nobody else on that court last night I would have rather been shooting. That is, unless you were trying to win that game or you expected them to. Young dudes gotta get those reps in.
George Mikan missed 35 shots in a game where he only scored 32.
Jerry West missed 32 shots in a game where he only scored 37.
Wilt missed 29 twice where he only scored 34 and 35.

33 points on 31 shots is absolutely horrendous. Why does 20 missed shots need to be defended? The player in question scored 33 points on 31 shot attempts. That's not horrendous.
Scoot needs to work on his 2-point efficiency in real games and in practice.
He's a rookie.
Missed shots are part of the process of getting his 2-point game where we want it.
I think improving Scoot's 2-point shooting is probably the most important goal on offense for the Team that could be achieved this season.

Was bad for sure. Not bad for a 19 year old kid though with no experience in my opinion. Just didn’t bug me much. I expected MANY of these type of nights. Inefficient, yet exciting……like my sex life!I have zero problem with how many shots he took. I was just pointing out how brutal his % was
Perhaps you meant "exiting" - like your intended sex partnerWas bad for sure. Not bad for a 19 year old kid though with no experience in my opinion. Just didn’t bug me much. I expected MANY of these type of nights. Inefficient, yet exciting……like my sex life!
Someone smart.Great to see Scoot going for it...This is the season to figure out what works and what doesn't. I wish Sharpe would do the same on occasion. It's all about development. As to the miserable sods above...They all have shown that despair is their baseline.
Have fun watching this team develop and go find a little joy in your life.
the entire Suns possession was cut off to have a chat with Brooke. I guess a Blazer fouled KD on a three pointer, hence the sprawled out players on the court. And when they switched back to the game, there were players sprawled all over the floor, I had no idea what happened, and they didn't bother to describe or go back and show what we missed. This year the TV crew gets to goof off, because the team doesn't win much. That's fine and all, but why even show the game at all if the TV crew wants to cut off game minutes, and turn every contest into a comedy club?
Not returning to live action is only going to get worse. The broadcasting crew knows that's a big no no, and they're acting like spoiled brats, trying to be naughty children.
The Blazers owner is off in la la land. Jody must get a kick out of the silly broadcasters. Seeing happy people on TV is more fun for her, then watching this bouncy basketball sports team her brother gave her.
I don't recall exactly, late 1st half. It's the most annoying thing ever to hear sneakers squeeking, and not be able to see the game, because Blazer broadcasting would rather screw around then show us the basketball game. What point of the game was this? I can't believe I missed it.

You insinuating that the changes made by the Vulcuns have not been good?
