If a contending team isn’t hitting up Joe Cronin for Malcolm Brogdon or Jerami Grant, are you even trying trying to win a title?

Although I’ve enjoyed watching both of them play recently. Both professionals that have just been straight up hoopin.
Have to think Brogdon is getting traded

I don't think Portland moves off Grant unless the deal really good. I don't anticipate Portland will receive amazing offers because of the size and length of Grant's contract.

Scoot down the stretch really makes me wish he had no one ahead of him on the depth chart and that he was setting up every play that he was involved in.
He just needs minutes and the freedom to make mistakes.

I actually feel best for 'Tisse. This win had to be sweet for him.

And nice to see Covington giving his usual Portland production...not showing up at all.

Grant is rocking the SF position. He's clearly our best all around player
Been seeing this for a couple weeks now. Grant at SF and Walker at the PF with Ayton on the court is a good group. They need time to get it together. For all those wanting to trade Grant I would think twice and the return better be worth it.

I'm just saying that I want him quarterbacking this club on the varsity team... even if he has to take his lumps. I'm sick of him being JV and being played at the wrong position.
I'm with ya on this but realistically speaking he would have fouled out. He had 4 fouls in 21 minutes. The kid needs time yes but in a close hard fought game he would not stay on the court. Brogdon played 32 mins and had 2 fouls.

I wouldn't watch the game in real time due to travel, but caught up later.

Did I see actual, proper lobs being thrown to a big cutting to the basket for dunks? I know Embiid was out, but there have been multiple opportunities game after game where they weren't taken advantage of no matter who was in. Against the 76'ers, it seems like they had more in one night than in the last month.

Well done.

Scoot only played 22 minutes.

He finished the game with 4 fouls.

Realistically speaking, he could have played 11 more minutes at that rate before fouling out. That would have been 33 minutes playing time.

Scoot entered the game with 7:44 left in the 1st quarter. He left at the 1:19 mark, after 6:25, with 3 fouls. Realistically, he also could have fouled out in 13 minutes if we just left him out there.
He was able to play without fouling(in a blowout) at the end of the game, but to say he wouldn't have fouled out until 33 minutes is as accurate as saying he would have fouled out in just 13 minutes.

Did you watch the game or are you coming to this conclusion just off the box score?

I can only imagine the outrage had Billups let Scoot get his 4th foul in the 1st half.
