The Hawks were the Blazers last win

if Murray is out for the Hawks this becomes a winnable game for Portland. Will take some imaginative coaching to secure the needed outcome

Hawks were getting smoked in their last game against Celtics. Atlanta was down by 30 in 2nd quarter. The Hawks never gave up, and began pecking away at the huge deficit to beat Boston by 2.

ATL is coming off their most exciting win of the season. The Blazers play rookie unleashed smash ball. This should be a fun game !!

in that game,
Simons had 36/7/8
Ayton posted 33/19

the good ol' days of NBA basketball. We'll Probably have to wait until October until the Blazers stars recover from their fishing vacation.

Sooo many owwwies.

Camara looks fresh, couple nice buckets for Toumani

Rupert nailed a triple, Coach Snyder wants a timeout. Needs to tell his guys to guard somebody

Last two comments on Scoot by Atlanta crew: "Not very fluid going to the basket" and on the threee attempt" "Not a good shot [selection]"

Blazers should be looking to get Rupert as many open 3-pointers as possible.

Sad to see Scoot jacking them up without even passing the ball.

... says the team gettin' their butts kicked by rookies

Toumani FG slider up to max.
12pts on 5-5 shooting

Rupert is the only Trail Blazer younger than 24 years old to be shooting over 33% on three-pointers.

He leads the entire team at 41.7%.

Why the fuck is he not in the game?

Ashton hit a moneyball,
Blazers up 3 after 1

scoot is beyond repair, it is what it is

Disagree. Not beyond repair. Just needs more time to learn. I don't think he'll ever be the star some hoped but I think he will become a decent player.

Jabari driving into stormy weather. Hawks reclaim lead, Billups calls timeout

What is the deal with Blazers forcing contested shots early in the clock? It's like if they get close to the hoop they absolutely have to throw up a bad shot.

At times they're passing the ball around well. Then it goes away. Hagans and Walker. Why?

Through the year I've seen some improvement in Scoot but also a lot of mistakes.
My best hopes for the young guys are in Camara and Rayan. Neither will be stars but I think Camara is already a good role player and Rayan has the potential to be a good role player.

The rest (including Walker) may stick around but I don't really see as important to keep around. Perhaps we'll get some talent that could pan out from this year's draft but overall, our rebuild feels more like dumpster diving for talent than a rebuild.

Rupert is fantastic at kick-outs. Many of his teammates could learn from him.

He's a fantastic teammate in general.

Banton is clearly the number 1 option with these latest roster constructions.
