Business 101...... Supply vs Demand FAMS. My son and every kid his age in the country is going crazy for a certain pair of Air Jordans that they refuse to release until summer of '25. Mavs play Real Madrid tonight by the way....and ACTUAL basketball team with stars and history and it is NOT being broadcast. This does happen elsewhere.

I can't imagine what a Breakers fan is thinking - their team gets to play an actual NBA team for what maybe the only time in 5-10+ years and they can't watch it? This could literally be a crowning achievement on many of those players resume. What about friends and family of the Breakers team?

An 8 year old can stream themselves playing a game live in their parents basement, but an NBA team during a league promoted international cross country exhibition can't figure out how to steam an NBA game listed on the official team's schedule?

Lighten up homie. You're making this sound like some kinda thing. The Breakers fan will be just fine not seeing their team get stomped by 20 by our scrubs....."inexcusable move"....relax If they felt it was THAT big of a deal, THEY would have hired a crew to cover it. FUCKING BREAKERS BROADCASTING!!!!

It is odd how the schedule lists NBA league pass as an option. I'm hoping there is some sort of miscommunication with the inquiry you made - and we do get a legit feed of the game available on league pass.

The ability to plug the "cable" in the wall that would share the big screen show with the world was never in question.....they just don't do that. The in-house experience package on League Pass is something different they package to the league so fans don't obviously have to watch commercials.
Like I said a couple times before.....it's happened before and nobody could figure out how they got it. So I asked our engineers yesterday and in the past in this situation where the preseason game wasn't being broadcasted....Mr. Allen up in Seattle wanted the big screen feed sent to him, and they said that would have been the way it got pirated.
The radio call tonight will be on the "League Pass".
I'm here at the arena right now. There is only ONE TV truck in the loading dock and that is ours.
I know for a fact we are NOT broadcasting the game tonight.

Nah, not really FAMS. Technology wise NO other regional broadcast is using the 2nd spectrum technology or has a LIVE analytics person joining the show during LIVE game action. As much as it pains people here to admit or the mere fact that they don't watch the 29 other teams regional broadcasts.....Blazers broadcasting is and always has been ahead of everybody else on the broadcast itself and what they are trying to add. People here might not like it is implemented, looks, or comes across, but trust me when I tell you the the league itself absolutely loves all the new things we throw out there. Thats why during summer league the LEAGUE ITSELF uses OUR crew for there shows. implementing new technology like ref cams and an all 5G broadcast.

I know the broadcast experts will jump all over me any second now for stating these facts, but they are true. #FuckingBlazersBroadcasting

SIDENOTE: That said, there was a huge shakeup in our staff as @SlyPokerDog shared this past spring.

Haha, yeah there’s some over reacting…but it is pretty fun to see how excited people are to get their first glimpse of our new team. 4 rookies!!! It’s been a long summer!
 
Major fail on the Blazers organization to have the biggest change in direction of this team in 11 years; then both the fan festival as well as first scheduled game not televised.

Just bogles my mind how anybody in the Blazers organization could think this was a good idea.

They should have known when ticket renewals were higher than any Blazers year since the WCF that fans want to see immediately what this team looks like.

Blazers are very likely for the 3rd straight year to not have any playoffs, or a playoff race, or heck even any game worth watching after the trade deadline in February. So yeah they should capitalize on the only periods of hope which is the start of the season.

Doesn't mean the Blazers are doomed forever or any "nut job" label HCP/others are trying to put on those speaking up.

But it does mean the Blazers made a very stupid decision and rightly are experiencing very frustrated fans who have justified complaints.

Why would it not be aired??? There's only a 4 hour time difference (different day) between Portland and Aukland.
Meaning the game would be on at 3 PM in New Zealand. Not some ungodly hour.
And 1 PM in Sydney.

One of the perks of being a Rip City Remix season ticket holder is a pair of tickets for tonight's game. Was not expecting anything great, maybe just 200 level. I know it is just a preseason game not against an NBA team but section 112 row H is pretty cool.
 
I haven't been this excited for a Pre-Season game since we drafted Oden! Well I guess I mean his sophmore season... **sad trumpet noises**

Jesus Christ, I don't give two flying shits about 2nd spectrum technology, or ref cams, or those annoying segments with a live analytics person, or that dumb-as-fuck over-the-court cam which enables the viewer to see absolutely nothing. I just wanted to see the fucking game, guess that's too much to ask.
