First time I've seen a defender hanging on the rim and get dunked on

Why would you think people who play didn't earn it?
Because we're purposely putting an inferior product on the floor to lose even more games and/or giving minutes to young players who haven't performed at a level worthy of minutes.

The thing that's gonna hurt Camara is that I don't think he's a power forward, and we don't have minutes at small forward right now.
really? I think he could totally play PF.

That was true the last couple years. I don't think that's going to be true this year. We won't need to tank to be bad. And I think guys like Camara are going to have to bust their ass to standout with so many rookies and second year players. Most of the minutes are going to go to Scoot/Simons/Thybulle/Grant/Ayton/Brogdon (for now)/Sharpe/Williams and Jabari. If Camara plays his way onto the court, he will definitely have earned the minutes.

I think Skylar Mays got the post game interview to nobody. Maybe some space Aliens will hear this blacked out broadcast in 180,000 light years?

I wonder if the HCP clued them in that people were watching their dress rehearsal? They were goofing around with fake interviews like they didn't know that people were tuning in. And then halfway through the game it just shut down.

New Zealand moved the ball around a lot better than we did, they just couldn't rebound or make shots. We still played ISO ball too much. Looked like a team without a playbook most of the night. Ant still looked horrible on defense and Scoot at times looked like CJ dribbling the air out of the ball. It's preseason. Hopefully they look better Thursday against the Suns.No Blazer really looked too sharp tonight. Probably to be expected.

I don’t think big bro @THE HCP had any idea what he was talking about the last 24 hours when he said this wouldn’t air somewhere lol. Let alone Calabro and Hurd actually calling the game to god knows who

Alien 1: "This front office is amazing, they even put awful Pre-Season games on stream.".
Alien 2: "And that after Cronin dunked on the whole league this off-season!"
Alien 3: "I still say they should have filmed it with the whole broadcast team on board, and then NOT streamed it...to build demand"
Alien 1: "Dude that STILL makes no fucking sense, are you high?".

They were calling the game as a dry run. That's why they had the Suns logo and they were using fake interviews. I don't think they realized that the local stations in New Zealand were carrying the broadcast.

It says Rupert was a +32. He looked much improved.
Camara reminded me a little of Ariza on D.

Edit: ESPN fixed the +/- stat for Rupert. (+19)
Still, he and Minaya were a disrupting factor on D
