The announcement of the NBA’s 2023-24 regular-season schedule is still roughly a month away, usually taking place in mid-August. But on Friday, the Trail Blazers announced their four-game preseason schedule, which will take place over the week of Oct. 10. It is as follows:

  • October 10 Tuesday vs. New Zealand Breakers, 7 p.m. PT (Moda Center)

  • October 12 Thursday vs. Phoenix Suns, 7 p.m. PT (Moda Center)

  • October 14 at Utah Jazz, 6 p.m. PT (Delta Center)

  • October 16 at Phoenix Suns, 6 p.m. PT (Footprint Center)
The opening game against the New Zealand Breakers of the NBL will be a reunion game for Rayan Rupert, the Blazers’ No. 43 overall pick in June’s draft, who played the 2022-23 season for the club.

Oct 10.....otherwise known as the Rayan Rupert feature game.
 
Will this be enough time to get KAT, Jaylen Brown, Tyler Herro, and Triple J up to speed on our half court offense?
 
Two games against Phoenix. Hopefully, we do not play them in the first week of the season as well. I dislike when they do that.
 
How weird will it be when at home Mark Mason will announce the starting lineup with "please welcome from Weber State wearing the letter "o", Damian Lillard
and then after that "Now Moda Center it's time to get on your feet and make some noise! Wearing the letters 00 and coming from the G league Ignite, welcome your new franchise leader, Scoot Henderson!"

I think we're going to win more games than anyone is predicting next season including pre season.

I was born in 54...my lucky number...my favorite strat...I predict 54 wins every season...it's a tradition. I don't go into a season predicting failure or tanking or any of that...we're young and the superstars are a year older. My win predictions are just based upon hope..not Vegas gambling odds. I'd be a terrible gambler

We should get a bank of 100-level tickets and have a get together.

Thanks alot for bringing it to fruition for others to take the baton and run with it!

As soon as i typed that i was thinking to myself, yeah right. This will morph into 50 pages of “will Dame be on the roster come the first preseason game?”
