Welcome to the 2024-25 Caption Contest!

The rules are simple. Post a caption to the given picture on game day. After the game the caption with the most likes wins for that game. You will receive 3pts for winning and 2 points for posting a caption for a possible total of 5 points.

I will include updated standings in the op on the caption contest thread for each game. At the end of the season, the poster with the most points wins.

The male pelicans stretch their wings, they strut, they quack, circling each other trying to catch the eye of the female birds. Alas, despite their courting dance and the bravado they show, an injury will likely deny them the companionship they seek. Nature is cruel that way.
