Give the Blazers credit. When we're bad, we're the best at being terrible.

Despite giving up 67 points, the real problem, to me, was the offense. We run nothing, and we don't shoot well. The lack of flow and movement with all this iso crap keeps everyone out of a rhythm, and that carries over to the defensive end because we let the other team get out and run.

We also get outhustled with regularity. How many of the 3s we gave up were after loose balls?

But, yeah, our issues all start with a non-existent offensive approach and the absence of any consistent shooters.

Maybe Grant and Simon’s will get traded
Would love that.

I really do worry about our vets trade value though. They've all consistently lost value the last 3 years (by ESPN 100 NBA rank)

That was the stupid reason to even have this group come back in the summer. If Ayton Grant Ant get wins it hurts our pick. If they lose it hurts their trade value.

The Blazers setup their season so no matter what happens the franchise suffers.

Is the problem on offense the offensive system or the players? When we had Ayton Ant sitting out the team had a lot of motion, hustle, and pace. Since they've been back there's little movement or effort, just standing around.

This version of the team is so depressing to watch. No Clingan, no Scoot. A bunch of defensive liabilities and a shooting guard parading as a center.
I'm fine with losing - but at least give us a team that tries and hustles even if they have less talent.

This vet group we're trotting out now is as depressing as the Raymond Felton / Jamal Crawford year.

Ben Handlogten is somewhere just laughing his ass off

I’m watching this game thinking that their prospects are better than our veterans.

Is this the type of game that puts Billups on the hot seat?

Don't think Cronin, Kolde or Vulcan will want to admit it's a stupid roster so might be easier for them to blame the coach.

Walker was someone who I was in favor of cutting back in training camp because I thought he was a waste of a roster spot.

I don't think much differently about him today.

Walker is still 5x better as a center than Ayton.

The Jazz are coming off a 27 point loss WITH Markanan, losing 5 in a row and losing 9 of their last 10.

Billups yanks Sharpe after 4 minutes.

But seemingly doesn't matter what Ant Ayton Grant do they jack up crap shots, play shit defense but still get big minutes.
You seem to forget every night…..what the mission is. You just don’t seem to get it. #Showcasing

He doesn’t care about basketball
You know what’s funny…. Or maybe not…… I have MULTIPLE examples and stories I could share that blows this opinion out of the water…..just not worth my time. Just know that this kid is as dedicated to getting better than almost any player I’ve been around on this team.

You think other teams are impressed by their play of extra minutes and shots?

This isn't 1997 where guys can put up empty points and be in demand - other NBA teams all have staff that analyze player efficiency and productivity relative to their contract.
