Simons could be a great scorer, just as Lillard thought. But for 2 years, he's been held back, deferring to Little Scooter's "development." The faster we get rid of Scooter, the faster Simons will himself develop.

I don't understand why Malone didn't double Simons. That was their most effective defense against us tonight and what got them back for the most part.

Honestly, this might not be the take we deserve but the take we need right now.

Last huddle:

Ant: Can I win it?

Billups: Sigh. Okay.

Chauncey: "OK, we're going to use Ant as a decoy. DeAndre, you get the ball and get it to Merle. We're going to run the picket fence. He's going to take the last shot."

Chauncey: "What? What's the matter with you guys?"

Ant: "I'll make it."

One of the first games with lights out shooting we won in awhile.

Spurs and Mavs we shot great but somehow lost.

Thought we'd end up losing this, not sure how we even lost that lead. Exciting win though!

Deni is on a tear. Had a horrible start to the year but since going to the bench he legit might be our best player. So fun to watch his game, he defends, and pushes the pace relentlessly. He's basically a taller Josh Hart that hits threes. Legit curious how he could perform with a larger role on this team.

Almost reminds me a bit of the 1999 season when Sheed came off the bench as our best player.

Although instead of being a team that could win 60 games were one that losses 60.

Deni is a definitely a bigger Josh Hart. Hart was measured as 6'5" with shoes, 6' 3.75" w-out shoes.
Deni is listed as something around 6'9". Whether that's with or without shoes I don't know.

There's a listed 25 lb difference in weight.

Also, Deni is 23 years old (soon to be 24 on Jan 3rd). Hart will be 30 years old in March.

Combine Manu and Josh and you come out with Deni.
