Ant's shot just needs to fall more... nah, realistically Ant's value is what it is and we just need to take whatever the best offer for him is.

So I agree with you and would just add Toumani to your list of guys we saw good stuff from.

It's going to be interesting to see who we move at the deadline.

This with better effort and bbiq choices.
I thought the effort of Shae, Tou, Deni, Scoot, Kris and Donovan were all at a good level... obviously most of those guys need a big increase in bbiq maybe only Tou and Deni are trending the right way in that area.

We better move Ant and Jerami... unless every GM in the league is asking for a pick with them which I just don't believe is the case. I don't think either guy has negative value to every team.

I think Jerami will be gone. Ant maybe. Probably Robert. Maybe Matisse.

Swear I heard all these same suspicions from posters here last trade deadline, at the draft, at free agency, at summer league, at training camp, etc etc.

The roster has never made sense the entire time.

Only trade we ever got was our 3rd PG which was an urgent need for the team to save luxury tax.

I'll believe another trade will happen when I see it.

I think every player you mentioned has an extremely high bbiq. I think they all have major issues holding them back from being great, but they are all smart players. It’s one of the traits management has targeted since taking over.

Shae can’t dribble, and is too unselfish
Tou can’t shoot or create his own shot
Deni can’t create his own shot
Scoot can’t shoot
Kris can’t shoot
Clingan plods, has bad hands and no inside move

This might shock none of you, coming from me, but Clingan has looked like trash recently
Yeah, since coming back from that knee injury I agree, he does not look as mobile so my guess is he came back too soon and knee is not yet right

Something definitely wrong. He didn't look this uncoordinated earlier. He's not trying to dunk when he has easy opportunities. Wonder if there's an oblique or core muscle strain or something, because he's not even moving particularly natural.
He's never looked coordinated. He has never been a dunker around the basket. He's almost useless at this point.

Clingan clearly wasn't moving well the first game back, but after that one he looked fine physically, so I'm guessing it's mostly been in his head since then. He played light minutes in college due to fitness and injury concerns, so he likely has a mental block in that regard that needs attention.

That is pretty much my view. But those are the things they, hopefully, can iron out. Plenty of teams would probably give draft assets for Deni, including OKC/SAS. He is by far the most tradable. I love his game but what is best for the future? I dont know.

Yeah, but the new offense works fine when Chauncey's out of town.

It probably has more to do with home and away. They average 113 at home (8-8) and 103 on the road (3-14) which is pretty typical for lottery teams. (Playing much better at home)

I think Ant was mostly terrible. Good to see him knock shots down in the second half but this was a bad game. Good stuff from Shae, Scoot and Deni.
Ant did not play bad at all. Shot 47%, put up 17 attempts. Sharpe had 16 attempts, Avdija put up 14 and Camara 13

If anyone played bad it was Sharpe who was 6 for 16 for 37.5%.

But you guys won't ever say anything negative about Sharpe in here lol.

If Sharpe gets to year 6 and isn't better we'll be looking for his replacement as well.
