Dame screwing over the Blazers even when he's playing for someone else.

Timelord suited up but not playing makes me wonder if he's being held out for an imminent trade. Maybe with Grant?
I think a bunch of teams are in holding pattern until the Jimmy Butler trade goes down.

I think Ant could be a legit PG in the mold of Terry Porter with more scoring IF he got more consistent players around him and that comes with time and stops thinking he is Dame 2.0. I am just not sure Cronin has either the balls or maybe the green light from management ( Allen and whoever makes the decisions ) to make a bold move even if it does present itself.
Ant had a solid game, good, there should be NO change in plan - simply trade him, what are some of you thinking?

we can only hope and pray

Could Dame be a bit discombobulated playing his old team? How often does he throw pass to no one? Not typical Dame.

Very entertaining game to watch. The Simons to Shae lob from just past the half-court line was reminiscent of the old Porter to Clyde fast breaks.
Camara and Deni had very good games. Yes, Deni had a lot of careless TOs but he never stopped moving in 43 minutes. I got tired just watching him.

I hope this game got some other teams' GMs ears perk up.because other than that it was worthless.

Yeah it was a fun game to watch.

Crazy how much better our forwards have been with Deni starting in place of Grant.

Don't see how Deni can be sent to the bench when Grant comes back.

I don't dislike Grant as much as some here, but there's no denying that the activity level is significantly higher with the Camara-Deni pairing.

Has it been Billups starting Grant or Cronin asking him to?

Hard to know, but if Grant is so clearly being outplayed perhaps it gives Billups more justification to start Deni if he wants to.

Will be interesting to see what happens when Grant comes back.

On the one hand Grant clearly doesn't deserve to start. But also shows what stupid vets Cronin assembled if Grant is paid $160 million to be a backup and Thybulle $33 million to not even play.

"Dame Time" is the most over-rated shit in the history of sports. He almost always blew it, like he did last night.

That's a fair question, I'd "both" and both should go but then again the team needs to be sold as well so WTF

Love me some fan perspectives. Fire the coach! Trade the vets! Fire the GM! Sell the team! They traded their "superstar" a year ago, so this is really year one of actual building.

Grant's 2-point shooting is an embarrassment and he definitely should not be a starter. It's well below Scoot Henderson. Grant is shooting 38% on 2-point shots.

Feels like Grant just doesn't give a shit and throws up all kind of garbage inside the 3-point line.

Billups certainly hasn't penalized his horrible shot selection on 2-pointers.

I remember Haberstaff was even complimenting Grant on how difficult his 2-point shots were last season. That is NOT a good thing unless your make percentage is good.

I imagine your perspective of other fans must seem really solid from that deck chair on the Good Ship Lollypop-BlazerStyle-Titanic Era

Halfcourt lob reminded me of these:

It really start with ownership being bad, then they make bad decisions on GMs as well as micromanage them. Then bad GM acquires bad players.

Most fans focus on the players and coach as we can directly observe their performance. But just changing them won't fix this team. Really changing any 1 of players coach GM owner on it's own will do very little. This franchise needs improvements on many levels and unfortunately that won't happen in months or likely even years.

We're in our 4th year of heavy tanking. If you think it should be considered year 1 then what the hell do you consider the purpose of the other 3 years.

I'm not quite following your math, I mean the sentement is so far off it's almost laughable but the math is just plain wrong. We traded Dame before the beginning of the last season and we're 34 games into this season. So we're well into year two of the rebuild... even though as @SharpesTriumph points out, if this is only year two of the rebuild, what in the hell were we doing in 21-22 and 22-23???

22 got Sharpe
23 got 3rd pick, Camara
24 got Deni, Clingan
25 hopefully getting Flagg or Harper
