Last night Wagner was back though so the Magic should’ve improved.Orlando was also on a 4-game losing streak. Losing by 29 in Milwaukee, by 27 in Boston , by 13 at home against Denver, and by 16 in Toronto.
I agree it’s frustrating. But it wasn’t Scoot’s only solid stretch of games. He had a great stretch of games when Ant and Ayton were out earlier this season. He was good at the end of last season. He played well when Billups missed games. Not starting him pisses me off. He should play ahead of Grant even Deni if they’re not gonna make up an injury for Ant. And tell me Scoot fouled out. Your role is different off the bench and he never had a chance to get his footing. Can't stand the Ayton Ant Grant core we have ...... Even when the most annoying of the 3 is sitting out somehow this franchise figures out a way to bench their prized 20 year old #3 pick who finally was having his only solid stretch of starting games. He was actually above solid, he was playing very well shooting, passing, and defending while leading the Blazers to wins.
To all those posters that have been fine with Cronin holding onto the Ant Grant Ayton trio these last two years - do you still feel the same?
I'm happy to have this franchise win games - but when your rebuilding it should be wins from a future core. Not mediocre overpaid role players that have zero future here long term.
Such a frustrating franchise to be a fan of. We somehow found a way to develop a strategy worse than the two timelines. New franchise strategy is bench your future when they play great.
A smart franchise? The Hornets/Pelicans/Bobcats have been around for decades and have never reached a conference final. Not once. Every other team in the league has been to at least one.Not sure where the game thread is but Charlotte is tanking harder than us. Bridges and Ball both out. Along with Miller
FML.
What a smart franchise.

And the Blazers haven't won a WCF game in 25 years and its looking like it'll be much longer than that.A smart franchise? The Hornets/Pelicans/Bobcats have been around for decades and have never reached a conference final. Not once. Every other team in the league has been to at least one.

has to be new ownership to transform the organization to winners
25 years isn’t that long when you consider the Hornets joined the league in the 1980s. Making it to the WCF means win two playoff series which is impressive and what we did 6 years ago.And the Blazers haven't won a WCF game in 25 years and its looking like it'll be much longer than that.
Paul died before the season we got the 3 seed and made it to the WCF.probably true
in the 7 seasons after PA died, the Blazers are:
35-39
42-30
27-55
33-49
21-61
17-28
175-262 (.400 = avg record of 33-49)
and essentially, since PA's last roster was dismantled, they've been 98-193 (.337 = avg record of 28-54)
...with the team built under Paul Allen...Paul died before the season we got the 3 seed and made it to the WCF.

And it's been all down hill from thereExcept for Kanter and Hood.

12 out of 15 Western Conference teams have won a WCF game since 2000. Portland is not one of them. Memphis is in position to make that 13 out of 15. So yes, that is a long time.25 years isn’t that long when you consider the Hornets joined the league in the 1980s.
