literally chauncey.

Literally vague.

That's like saying a football team doesn't run the ball well. Is the line bad? Is the RB bad? Can't he read the holes?

In other words, it could mean a bunch of things.

I'll give you a for instance. You probably won't listen, but maybe someone else out there actually wants to understand.

Let's say part of Shaedon's defensive problems is not knowing the scouting report. That's part of being a professional. Let's imagine this has been an ongoing problem, and that he did something early in the game that showed he wasn't up on what he needed to know about the other team or the gameplan tonight. So Chauncey's cut his minutes. And, if Shaedon gets the message, he becomes a better player down the road.

Those are the kind of things that happen. When I coached, those things happened, and fans or parents would come up and grill me like you grill Chauncey and a coach can't always explain that stuff in detail.

Heck, the reason his minutes were cut might have been because of something on offense, not knowing a play that he should know. You took a random tweet and just assumed it fit your purpose.

bemac -- all I said is I would be upset if one or both are still on the team and maybe made it out more to show how much I want one or both traded. My anger aka passion is because having Ant and Grant on this team while it might be leading to some wins it's hurting by having to bring Scoot and other young players who are the future off the bench.
Complaining during the best winning streak they've enjoyed in a few seasons isn't what I'd call passion nor is demanding trades on a chat forum that almost certainly won't happen... we're just talking here not directing the team's actions.

The young guys who were lost and struggling are now clued in and playing well more often then not and contributing to these wins as well. Who deserves some credit for their development and the team playing like one? Give it up for Coach Billups

I wonder if the Suns want to go back in time and unwind that Camara/Ayton to PDX, Nurkic/Allen to Phoenix trade.

42 points on 78% shooting and 17 rebounds, vs 3 points on 33% shooting and 4 rebounds.

What did Billups say to Ayton after the last game where he shot 10-12?
"Deandre, you can do better than 10-12."

"OK, how bout 11 - 12 ."

I'm sure the various Suns fan forums are in full meltdown this morning both over the loss and rehashing that trade. At the time I didn't get the move from their prospective other then that DA was the fan scapegoat for their problems so they'd get some PR kudos. I was absolutely thrilled to get rid of Nurk who I thought was an unfocused entitled baby. I was okay with adding Ayton, but really liked Camara... more then any of the other picks after Scoot.

Team sure looks good right now. Top 5 defensively and add in we push the ball for easy scores off fast breaks. Now team has me questioning everything, should we keep Ayton? Is Billups the right coach or do we start over with new coach? What position do we need filled? Do we have our future starting lineup now and just need reserves to fill in holes (Scoot, Sharpe, Deni, Toumani, Ayton)?

Things that still need to happen move Ant and Grant. Ideally for back up forwards and back up PG and couple of 1st rounders. Sad part is we need to replace both guys with guys who have similar skill sets. Would you keep Grant if he’s willing to come off bench?

Ayton is likely very difficult to move this deadline and he will be much easier to move as an expiring this summer of nest deadline. His next contract should be a for a lot less money, he seems to like it here and Clingan is young. Wonder if Blazers could get DA on a cheapish 15 mil or so per year deal if they's keep him and if he's sign for that?
