That's actually a really good one, IMO. I think Toumani is more aggressive on offense. But stylistically a very good comparison

Na they didn't quit, they had to travel and next play the LA teams. They fought hard and got within two in the 3rd. Their defense was good and bothered us at the start of the 4th.

Blazers played great though.

They made several runs and never could catch us.

Then the game turned into an alley-oop drill.

Then they pulled their rotation.

That's quitting, in my book. We took their hearts.

This has been great but the key to keeping this going isn't to prevent regression, it's to continue ascension, continue to get better. That goes for the players, the coaches and yeah the front office. No one should be content with where this team is at. I don't really think there is such thing as sustaining in sports. If a team thinks they're treading water they're likely regressing. We can't do that and continue to dominate.

I hope everyone in the Blazers organization is thinking that way.

There's a few things the Blazer are doing that make this seem like it's not entirely a fluke:

1 Defending at a high level, even solid with the Ant Ayton lineups.
2 Many offensive creators, it's not just 1 or 2 players shooting lights out
3 Great bench production - mainly from Scoot and Sharpe plus the alternating Timelord/Clingan big.

Our goal was to be like the Rockets last season. They ended up 11th in the west.

Blazers are currently only 4 wins behind that now joke of a Dallas franchise for 11th.

Shockingly close. They closed out the season 17-11 to go 41-41. They also got the 3rd pick because they had the Brooklyn pick which was the 9th best odds. The Blazers right now have.....the 9th best odds.

Quitting is Raymond Felton Jamal Crawford Blazer teams. Hell even our team this year against the Jazz.

Pacers ran into a hot team on a B2B and lost. Happens dozens of times to good playoff teams every season.

Hahahaha no. SGA, Luka, and Brunson all better than him. Also, Lillard, Garland, and LaMelo Ball. Fox. Ja. Curry, Maxey. So Hali not top 10.

I mean we can't win em all but there's nothing about this style of basketball that isn't sustainable.

I don't think Ant fits terribly well and Grant should probably be elsewhere just because of his age and the fact that I think we can do this without him.

I think we have done it without him too. Grant missed at least one game during this streak.

I don't think Amen can ever be THAT GUY.

Scoot can and likely will.

And I love Amen as a player. His shooting will stop him from being a top option on offense.
