Clingan with 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks so far. I love it that his teammates are starting to look for him and understand how to use him on the offensive end.

Are the blazers just…good? Beating all the bad teams which is what good teams do.
We are not bad enough to get a high draft pick but we aren't good enough to make the play ins... is that good?

We have a handful of vets to trade for a player or a pick this summer at any rate. We could make the play in still.

Are you serious? I don't know if people just put on blinders, or maybe afraid to admit they were wrong. Yes, the Blazers started the year with a very start, obviously, and it put them in a hole. They are not that team, and in fact, are probably top 10 at this time. It's okay that you and many others thought this team was horrible, but it's time to let that go.

It is something that separates first round exiting teams like what Portland was for many years, during the post-LMA Dame years, from the legitimate contenders.

Either Mike Tirico or Alaa Abdelnaby, broadcasting for the Sixers, also mentioned he has been paying attention to the Blazers and their record is actually Top 4 in the NBA ever since the recent winning began.

Get some sleep lads.

Murray generally makes smart plays each game. Got to work on the shot!

We have great size and we play good defense. I think we could be pretty good with this crew. Inconsistent shooting is probably our biggest problem.

good teams don't always gel the first half of the season. I think we're deep and looking really good.

entering tonight, there were 20 teams with better records in the NBA. Are there 21 good teams in the league?

their hot streak has stretched over 21 games; they are 15-6 over that span. 12 of their 15 wins came against teams with losing records; their 3 wins against teams with winning records all came at home. They haven't beat a team on the road with a winning record in 2 months, and they have only won 3 road games all year against teams with winning records and only one of those wins are since November. Good teams win on the road. None of this says 'good team'. At best it says average team taking advantage of schedule

now, if the Blazers start beating some of these top teams, on the road or at home, that changes things

Everytime I check they’re always winning or won the game. It was never like this during the dame era

3-3 against good teams is nothing to scoff at. Look at the record for the playoff teams against each other. Hallmark of a good team is beating the teams you’re supposed to.

I’m not saying they are a top 8 team in the league or anything. But they have been competitive, and showing signs of what actual good teams do.

good teams aren't 5 games out of 10th seed

Disagree young teams can easily be 5 games out of tenth. Takes time for them to figure out identity and their role on the team. This team reminds me a lot of Rockets.

Another side note Sharpe seems to want to hang on to that starter position. His effort is ten times better on defense, getting his hands on a lot of loose balls or sneaky swipes at the ball for steals. This is the player I wanted to see all season. He’s so patient offensively and 90% of the time makes the right read. Also not a ball stopper on offense

It’s a young team finding its way. I wouldn’t expect anything less but we are starting to see them compete against good teams even on the road.
