You're free to be disappointed. But your concerns seem pretty specific to next year. So maybe you think the team will be good?

well, they are the management team that coveted Ayton for 2 years and he's no shot blocker and rim protectorlast

last season, with Nurkic and Eubanks, the Blazers were 2nd in the NBA in opponent FG% at the rim

this season, with Ayton and Reath, Portland was 28th

drafting Clingan to plug the holes in the paint and at the rim only makes sense if Ayton is traded

They took a flyer on Ayton because he was basically free. They thought he would be better in a new situation. He wasn't, so you move on.

I didn't mention anything about next year. In fact, I mentioned that for tonight, losing the 14th pick was a disappointment... and Avdija will almost certainly be worth more next year than anyone we could have gotten then.

Maybe the reason you think you should tell me what to feel is because you can't understand what I'm saying? Not sure.

Personally after last season, I just don't want guys like Ant, Jerami and I guess at this point Deandre getting in the way of our future... which I see as Scoot, Shae, Clingan, Avdija.

I mean, you are the one that said you were disappointed we drafted a backup, which everyone we drafted would have been next year. So when that player is starting a few years would you be less dissappointed?
 
Would like to use our second round pick and a player or players work and pick up Ja’Kobe Walter. I would give up ant to make that happen
 
Maybe we make a lineup of Scoot, Shae, Avdija, Deandre and Clingan work.

wait a minute...Ayton was "basically free" in a trade that sent out Dame and Nurkic?

again, we heard rumors for 2 years that Cronin coveted Ayton.
