GAME NOTES
  • The 49ers will make their 19th appearance in a NFC championship, more than any other team.
  • This will be the third NFC championship game in a row for the 49ers. They have gone 0-2 the last two seasons losing to the Rams and the Eagles respectively
  • This will be the Lions second appearance in an NFC championship. Their first appearance was a loss to the Redskins in 1991
  • The 49ers have won 7 NFC Championships and 5 Superbowl Championships
  • The Lions have never been to the Superbowl
  • The Lions and 49ers have only met twice in the postseason. The last time was back in 1983 when the 49ers defeated the Lions 24-23 to advance to the NFC championship

Can't deny, I'd like to see the Lions get this, but I just don't believe in them. I can't. It's like the Timberwolves being at the top of the Western Conference; it just doesn't compute.

Can we have a cage match between the two coaches simultaneously?

Hopefully this is a better game than the other one

Two governors who could face off in 2028 presidential primaries. Separate issue.
Hard to root against a Cal Bear but go Niners.

Lions right down the field for a TD!

Like I said, Detroit will win. Niners game plan is to not lose. So they’ll lose.

My money has been on Lions for 4 weeks. I keep doubling up. They win SB I’ll (almost) be outta debt (side from my mortgage).

Niners hit back with a TD

Chefs? Am I missing a joke?
Play some defense FFS

you always snotty as shit to me. i greatly respect you, but if you are going to respond with your snotty shit, just please read my sponsor or ignore me. Thanks in advance.

they played that snickers commercial the other day. “That’s great, but who are the Chefs?”

My only complaint is that I bet too lightly on the Lions.

I won $500 on the C’awks being losers. I bet too lightly on my teams, typically, but I don’t usually bet.

Snotty? WTF? I apologize, your highness, but I really have no idea what you are talking about.

49ers stuck with a FG

24-10
