I enjoyed it.
Clingan - great learning experience.
Sidy - same.
Sharpe - too.
Deni - Also.
They need to learn - and today they know how it feels to win fugly.
I am sure they like it a lot, knowing how loosing it would have felt.

I'll say it again. If I were Joe I would get Thibs on the phone, find out what it would cost to get him on a contract that just goes through the rest of this season and let him kick this young team's asses for the rest of this season.
No . 3 coaches in one season is not good for stability. Let Splitter finish the season.

Post Game interview with Splitter, he confirms that Sharpe was on a minutes restriction:

Well shit. That makes a lot more sense now.

I watched the presser right after the game but I couldn't tell what the reporter asked. My apologies to Tiago, it would have been crazy just to sit Shaedon in OT but if he's on a minutes restriction, he'd already played 35 minutes so again that makes a helluva lot more sense now.

I am just starting to watch the game now. But I did notice that the comeback by the Kings coincided with Tou getting his 6th foul.
Earlier this summer, we discussed who should come off the bench between Deni, Tou, and Grant. I mentioned that the one reason I would
consider bringing Camara off the bench would be to help keep him from getting into foul trouble. That debate is getting close to happening again when Jrue (or Scoot) gets back.

still have all your fingers?
almost...I severed one to the knuckle when I was 20 years old and had it stitched back on...can't bend the tip of it anymore. That was from a landscaping accident though, not the woodworking.

well, I have a small wood shop too; and had been a contractor for nearly 40 years doing a lot of my own carpentry. I've been lucky...still have all my fingers...but I have collected some significant scars

table saws are the worst; so much torgue and blade speed and you have to push wood toward the blade. Can't daydream when using a table saw or they'll be calling you stubby

They have the Saw Stop ones now that are really good at protecting you. (They are expensive however, so as an "enthusiast woodworker" I have not spent the big bucks for one, if I did more work, I probably would).

Listening to some of the comments about how the Blazers should have easily beaten Sacramento because they have 2 of their best players out due to injuries made me curious about what teams are the most impacted by injuries so far his season. A quick search using a few AI engines -

Number of Man-Games-Lost due to injuries:
Indian Pacers: 163+
Portland Trail Blazers: ~127
Dallas Mavericks: 122+
OKC Thunder: 100+
NO Pelicans: 96+
Philadelphia 76ers: 88+

Even with all of these injuries to key members of the squad, the Blazers are currently sitting in the 10th spot in the west. Only 6 games separate the 10th spot from the 6th spot. It just takes one good run to quickly jump up the standings.

I'm really curious what this Blazers team can do given a (relatively) healthy roster.

You take out the last 4 minutes of regulation, and I thought they played great.
A lot of good things to be happy about.

Yes, they got tight at the end, and it was embarrassing, but they could have folded in OT....but they didn't. I was surprised by that tbh

That is nothing close to a great win, the Kings are a terrible team and should have won the game but the referees just gave the game to the Blazers
2nd week of April when the standings are final, let me know how this win has any less value than the one over the Thunder. No such thing as a bad win son.
