Shaedon is playing way better defense this season and he's rebounding really well for a guard. His shot isn't falling and the one time it did tonight the refs took it away like 5 minutes later.

Bottom line is that Shaedon's shot will start falling but you will still suck as a Blazers fan.

They should have Shaedon do mid-range and driving shots mostly for a while

His dribble is a big part of the problem. What Reeves does and Shaedon doesn't is know how to dribble in tight quarters. He still doesn't know how to lower his dribble, get his body into a defender and then be able to create the space to attack. Everything is just straight ahead. Nothing lateral. No changeup with the level of the dribble and no change of pace with the speed.

I don't know Shaedon, obviously, but I watch him and he's like the kind of young player I used to try to mentor and I'd walk away shaking my head saying "I wish he would take the game more seriously." Either Shaedon doesn't work properly in the offseason or he needs to change his personal trainers, because there are some very clear fundamental liabilities in his skillset that haven't been addressed at all.
