Did Billups call and give this team a speech or something cause this is like if Billups was coaching. I am turning this game off and just checking the score via ESPN or something cause If they do not care then I am not going to waste my time either.

We all knew that this was likely going to be a rough night... well it is.

I don't think all of the common sense in the world can prepare you for your team looking as bad as ours has but again it was to be expected.

I did like a lot of what I saw from Shaedon in that half... except those free throws and the fact that we weren't feeding him just a little more or maybe it was that he wasn't taking control of the game a little more. Well hopefully the second half will feature more Shaedon and a little less rust on Jrue's game.

The NBC/Peacock broadcast is brutal. Very boring even with the not so great team performance.
I’m not the biggest Calabro fan, but definitely missing him & Blazer broadcasting tonight.

Well, everything was going well and then Jrue turned down that easy layup to kick it out for an open three and then the wheels fell off of that run we were on.

Jrue passing up the uncontested layup to pass it out for 3 that would have cut it to 10 gives me memories of Josh "Trade Me" Hart refusing to shoot wide-open 3s. Like all the work the team does to get such a good shot and you just crap on it.

I get secondhand embarrassment watching Hansen play. Like he could be rotation down the line, but right now he’s so obviously unplayable and yet we keep trotting him out there.

The game just obviously moves way too fast for him but the only way he'll get up to speed, if he can, is getting reps at NBA game speed. I just don't know how else he can get to a better place. I don't think the G League can get him there... again if he can get there.

No it’s a skill issue. I feel like I’m watching the center version of Nolan Smith.

No it’s a skill issue. I feel like I’m watching the center version of Nolan Smith.

Like I was saying with all of those ifs, it might be more than just catcing up with the game but the speed definitely is at least a small part of it but you might be right and maybe he's got a lot of other issues that will continue to hold him back.

I get that and it's on him for sure but I'm also pretty mad that no one was force feeding him when he is by far our best scoring option.

Now it would seem that his night is over.

i figured this game was going to be frustrating and Shaedon not wanting to be the guy is always frustrating. Whatever, next game is an opportunity to fix a lot of things.
