I get that and it's on him for sure but I'm also pretty mad that no one was force feeding him when he is by far our best scoring option.

Now it would seem that his night is over.

i figured this game was going to be frustrating and Shaedon not wanting to be the guy is always frustrating. Whatever, next game is an opportunity to fix a lot of things.

Certainly on the coach too. Its very clear there was no game plan coming into this after losing Deni.

Just watched the first quarter. Four three point shot air balls.

Finished the first half. The only bright spots were Shaedon and Rupert. Refs let GS rape Clingon on several plays. The rest of the team looked like the Keystone Cops.

Third quarter. Shot better, obviously (3-20 from 3 in the first half. Yikes). Played marginally better. Less comical for sure. Key moment: Got the game within 12 points. Jrue passed out of an open uncontested layup for a missed three, and GS went on a run and got the game back under control. Also, haven't loved Love in this game.

4th. Yang committed a hard foul when a GS player rammed his knee into the back of Yang's head. Refs didn't call it though. Who says the Blazers never get any breaks? Rupert was solid, despite a couple of rookie flubs, and was all over the court. Still fewer mistakes than every other Blazer in this game, except for RWIII, who was also solid in limited minutes. Add this game to the amnesia files and move on.

Obviously, not surprised the Blazers lost, or that it wasn't close.

It's hard to really grade the performance under the circumstances. Basically only one of your primary five ballhandlers played and he was working off an injury.

My only real criticism is it seemed at times, particularly early but throughout the game, that our more experienced guys were just kind of going through the motions, like they knew we weren't likely to win and the effort and energy wasn't there, and that left some of our younger guys kind of stranded on a deserted island trying to play more outside their roles than they normally would have. Sometimes our veterans passed the young guys into trouble. Other times they seemed to not want to pass to younger guys for open shots. Some of those players are far too experienced for me to not wonder when it happens on three straight possessions.

One other thing: I should appreciate the Warrios because they do a lot through skill and not overwhelming athleticism, but I find them and their announcers to be among the most insufferable in the league. I give Kerr a pass, because he was my mum's favorite player and I admire his willingness to take social stands. But the announcers somehow managed to talk up their team like they were playing the Blazers at full strength and doing something special while also at times making fun of the Blazers, and the smiling and laughing after kneeing Yang in the head was bush-league. I know it wasn't deliberate, but to treat anyone else's injury like a big joke makes me angry. Like I said above, that's something that makes you hope for karma, either one of their guys gets hurt or Draymond blows up in practice and punches a teammate again and it blows up their team. Not happy with guys who haven't been in this league for long laughing about hurting an opponent and being joined in the fun by a guy who is the definition of an average vet.

Shaedon having only 14 shots at this point in the game is a failure by everyone on the team from himself down to the coaching staff and every teammate that he's been out there with.
I felt mostly on him, although there were a couple of times other people missed him. I give the younger guys a little bit of a pass, but Shaedon has to demand the ball and want to carry the team. That was one of the reasons for Blazers fans to watch this game -- we knew it probably wasn't going to be pretty, but you want to see Shaedon be the leader out there and take charge, if not with words, with aggressive play. He did that a little more as the game went on, then kind of stopped the few minutes before Tiago finally put up the white flag and pulled him for the night.

Forfeit the game at halftime and get on the plane and go home or find a rock to crawl under cause this is pathetic. I say call the game at the half before someone gets hurt cause this game is OVER -- period.

Deni is this team's Dame without him they are fucking lost.
You seem pretty worked up about this. Did you actually go into it thinking they would WIN……or even COMPETE? WOW!

The NBC/Peacock broadcast is brutal. Very boring even with the not so great team performance.
I’m not the biggest Calabro fan, but definitely missing him & Blazer broadcasting tonight.
except for HCP and his mediocre video replays 😜
The play by play guy Gannon, must know somebody. He is the WORST I’ve ever heard. Monotone, bland. He’s brutal!

Certainly on the coach too. Its very clear there was no game plan coming into this after losing Deni.
This frustrates me. If an F1 car breaks down mid race and you replace it with an ‘87 Datsun, you really think there is anything they can do about the outcome? “GAME PLAN” or not!

I get secondhand embarrassment watching Hansen play. Like he could be rotation down the line, but right now he’s so obviously unplayable and yet we keep trotting him out there.
The team was more embarrassing.

The NBC announcers commented when Yang had the ball out near the three-point line that he was looking for some help to get rid of the ball.

He wasn't looking for help, he was looking for someone TO CUT TO THE HOOP to pass to. Something seemingly unknown to Blazer players.

Instead, the knuckleheads hovered nearby trying to "help" him. It's like they have no idea what his skillset is, or don't care.

Just because another Blazer is incapable (and most of them are definitely incapable) of making a good pass out of that situation, doesn't mean Yang isn't capable.

Putting Yang in the corner, when instead he could be making passes to cutters or backing his man down in the paint.

And rarely passing to Yang when he an advantage over his man near the hoop.

All this happening when the offense is garbage.
