And that's the first quarter. Shaedon has been playing some really good on-ball defense. Still needs someone to tell him *who* to guard, but once he knows, he's doing really well.

That's the thing. He's way ahead of where Deni was at the same age. And yet people won't give him credit for all his improvement. Only picking at his shortcomings.

I thought he gave up some easy baskets in the first half. One of his weaker defensive games I thought.

That's why it's important to keep him and get him on a cheap, multi-year deal. Value contracts can be tremendous for the trajectory of any team.
