I think Scoot fits well as a third option and facilitator with Deni and Shaedon being offensive options ahead of him.

Even though we don't have a clearly potent offensive weapon right now, I didn't love Tiago saying that we just have to get points from whoever we can get them from. That's the kind of messaging that results in the helter skelter play we saw in the first half.

That's why we need a new coach next season. An actual experienced coach. It's just the same shit every game. Just letting the players play freestyle. No game plans, no intention to have certain players get certain shots, no adaptions to opponents gameplay. The coaching feels so hollow.

I love what he provides distributing the ball. But yes, he needs to improve his jumper or he won’t be a difference maker

I'd love to agree with that, except he's always coming back from injury. His handle is OK for a point guard, but not great. He can't separate from defenders, and his defense is worse than it was before the injury; he doesn't navigate screens like he used to.

He has good vision and makes good, fundamental passes. There are a lot of backup PGs in the NBA that can do the same thing and will be able to do it for less money than Scoot probably will command on his second contract.

We would have taken Miller if we had gotten the #2 that draft. I do not think Henderson would have went #3 depending on the team that would have drafted there. He had more hype but either of the Thompson twins could have went there IMO.

Not ready to give up on Scoot since he is still young but am certainly not counting on him. Not much improvement on his game and this is his fourth year.

I’m not able to watch this morning. I see everyone ragging on Scoot and turnovers. Looking at stats Scott as 2 turnovers and 4 assists. Jrue has 4 turnovers and 2 assists. Is it just because Jrue is scoring? Or why all the hate towards the kid?
