Great game..end game we missed 5 free throws to send it to OT...seen that movie before! Guys were gassed in the 4th and OT from altitude. We almost had this one!

Yep the refs were the one's missing the shots in the 4th and I will concede DC does need to get better at playing the outside shot but again the team wins as a TEAM and LOSES as a team. -- PERIOD --

Well nobody gave us a chance of winning this game anyway.

We will likely lose on Wednesday that will take us to 40-40.

If the team wants to get through the play-in they need that victory against the Clippers and against the Kings.

We'll see how it pans out. I think odds would say we'll lose the next two and win the last one to finish 41-41 but we'll have to see how it all plays out.

I know. It just sucks that we played so well and almost had it.

Glad we don't have to play the Nuggets again. They can fuck right off. I hope the Thunder or the Spurs slaughter their asses.

I think this game was a great tune up for playoff basketball even though the refs sucked.

Eh. In the grand scheme of things, this isn't a huge deal. I hate to lose when we outplayed them on the road by so much for almost the entire game only to collapse at the end with consecutive really important horrible calls going against us.

That said, we didn't do ourselves any favors. I thought we kind of abandoned a big part of what we did defensively that worked so well in the first half without the Nuggets really answering it. We kind of overthought things, lost our poise. You have to live with Jokic getting his points to some extent, and there's always going to be that feeling that if he's scoring the defense isn't working, when the idea is to limit the points for the Nuggets, not for Jokic. Letting Jokic operate as a facilitator keeps him fresh and gets all his teammates easy shots, let's them get into a groove.

I'll say it again. If we make the playoffs I'll be happy for our guys that they hit their goal but we're in a win win because this is a very very good draft. So if we lose in the play-ins then we'll get to have a shot at a very good prospect.

Camara fouling out was huge. and could have been the difference. He was 8-13 on three-pointers.
If he's shooting like that, he's got to take it a notch down on defense.
It's a learning game.

I have not hid the fact I DO NOT want the Blazers in the playoffs and lose the pick. This team needs all the assets it can get to re-load etc cause and not going to get into it in a game thread but there are some REAL hard decisions on players in the summer IF they fit. We will not even know that until we know if Cronin and/or Tiago are still with the team in a month or two from now.

And, they were on a run. We were bleeding points. They had to keep subbing Rob in because Clingan couldn't do shit. Kept leaving guys wide open. From what I saw we stymied their runs every time Rob came back in. Clingan was so lost, he kept looking at Tiago and asking what to do.
