You don't throw away 18 point lead because of refs. Refs did not miss shots, turn ball over, brick free throws.
Gosh you’d expect this from a 21 year old second year player, but not from a… *checks notes* oh.And, they were on a run. We were bleeding points. They had to keep subbing Rob in because Clingan couldn't do shit. Kept leaving guys wide open. From what I saw we stymied their runs every time Rob came back in. Clingan was so lost, he kept looking at Tiago and asking what to do.
Yeah the refs only fucked us over for about 6 points, our guys and Denver did the rest. I still think that means we get out of there with a regulation win if the refs don't make those calls but our guys have a lot to answer for and got dominated in OT.You don't throw away 18 point lead because of refs. We haven't won in Denver since 2016...the curse lives!
We said that in 2017 tooWell hopefully, Dame can help us get one next season.
Could really use Caleb right about now. Could slide Jrue for a few minutes at the three.I think with Grant and Sharpe both out, we don't really have any scoring coming off the bench and so especially in a game in Denver, starters get really tired.
Well we won Game 7 there in 2019. And Game 1 in 2021.We haven't won in Denver since 2016...the curse lives!
Yeah, teams (especially good teams at home) go on runs. The Blazers were up 14 at the end of 3. They were up 12 after 5 minutes of the 4th when Clingan checked out. They bled 2 points (5 points from the biggest lead) overall in the quarter. Over the next 7 minutes, after Clingan was subbed out, they bled 12 points. So this was Clingan being a problem? Just an odd game to go after DC on, even if you have a bias you want to lean on.And, they were on a run. We were bleeding points. They had to keep subbing Rob in because Clingan couldn't do shit. No depth? I beg to differ. We maybe have less depth with Grant, Krecji, Sharpe and Lillard out, but with them, I think we are one of the deepest teams. If we had Grant last night, that would have upped our defense and offense quite a bit. And if the league/refs weren't crooked and didn't hand the game to the Juggets (pronounced: Yuggets); insane how vital to the team that brain-beast is.Tough loss, but not a bad loss. Portland is a good team, but there is no depth right now. Maybe we will get lucky in the lottery……
The foul they called on him was brutal.Camara fouling out was huge. and could have been the difference. He was 8-13 on three-pointers.
If he's shooting like that, he's got to take it a notch down on defense.
It's a learning game.
Regular season according to Travis demersWell we won Game 7 there in 2019. And Game 1 in 2021.
The foul they called on him was brutal.
He got sandwiched by two Nuggets on the FT, Braun stuck his knee up Toumani's rear end to try to subtly ride him out of position ... then Jokic comes in over his back and they call a foul on Toumani for the typical hand-fighting you see on almost every contested rebound.
Just a brutal call to make with the game on the line for a player's sixth foul.
Jamal Murray got away with two fouls that were a lot more clear than that in the game and laughed about it because he knew it.
About the same.So I fell down a flight of stairs and pissed my pants in front of my boss, how did the Blazers do?
Playoffs? We haven't won in Denver since 2016...the curse lives!
Splitter should not let Deni run his challenges.
I've never understood why they bring up "so and so team hasn't won in such and such place since 1933!"
Like, there is not a single active Blazer player who was on the roster when the team last won in Denver in the regular season. Hell, there's not a single active Blazer player on the roster that was on the team the last time they beat Denver in Denver at all.
And even if you counted Damian, that means 1 player was on that team that is currently on that team.
Some of us crave the mundane.Apparently, drama is entertaining.
I do...we had those bragging rights over the Lakers for a long time. Also playing at altitude is tough for the road team. Denver is a tough win and I think that was the point the radio guys were making.I've never understood why they bring up "so and so team hasn't won in such and such place since 1933!"

So with them out, we have no depth, which you disagree with?No depth? I beg to differ.
