The Broadway Bridge is going to be closed for the next 6 months, later game starts is going to help traffic in the area.
It's not going to help me feeling old.

Yes but 11 am in ChinaMan, imagine having to wait until 11PM to watch a Blazer game on TV.
And any of you dorks can Venmo me 20 bucks right now, and I’ll get you a copy of the schedule! Let me know FAMS!
You should send me $20!
You'd just turn around and give it right back to Mrs HCP.
5-3!0-8 start
I never really thought about it this way. You benefit by Portland being a shitty team?Wow! That’s a couple mortgage payments right there!
Most definitely. Also we will no longer be broadcasting the first round of the playoffs no matter what. All exclusive from here on out.I never really thought about it this way. You benefit by Portland being a shitty team?
Sucks. Hopefully you are able to fill that with somethingMost definitely. Also we will no longer be broadcasting the first round of the playoffs no matter what. All exclusive from here on out.
Shit, a 5 game series would pay my family’s bills for a month.
The Yang factor isn't exclusive to China TV - there's more Chinese Americans than any Asian ethnicity in the US. Yang got a prime sportscenter interview on ESPN.Are you the same person on here who keeps saying this? I forget I’ve explained this like 10 times. Sorry if it’s not you. That’s not how it works. The games don’t need to be nationally televised for China to see them. They can just get our feed every game and see their boy.
Yes but 11 am in China
Fuck yeah we’re on the Monday Wednesday Friday track. I might actually see some games live this year
Ha!.....I used that line last night......
Also seeing many 3pm Sunday games. Personally like the early start.
Will see how popular the 8pm games are. Some might like the extra time to have dinner or less traffic later in the day.

Actually Portland is 9 hours BEHIND China. Date line is involved here. So if you look it up you will be told China is 15 hours ahead of Portland. It will be 12 Noon in China for the 8 pm games which all are scheduled after the end of daylight saving time (November 2nd).
Right now Portland is 9 hours ahead of Beijing on the clock, which will change to Portland being 8 hours ahead on the clock on November 2nd. 8pm minus 8 hours is noon. (That's an easier way for me to calculate the time.)
I thought you usually get picked up by a one of the broadcasting companies during the playoffs? Most definitely. Also we will no longer be broadcasting the first round of the playoffs no matter what. All exclusive from here on out.

Overtime on every single one of them.I foretell alot of early early exits on weeknights…
Overtime on every single one of them.
I love OT games! From my couch...I just cant like this post! Lol.
love to see genuine support from one blazer fan to another. Though I thought he only works for the vacations and concerts and stuff, and his wife takes care of the necessitiesSucks. Hopefully you are able to fill that with something
Thank you for calling me a necessity.love to see genuine support from one blazer fan to another. Though I thought he only works for the vacations and concerts and stuff, and his wife takes care of the necessities

Whenever TNT was broadcasting the games, I’d work for them….so that was great. I don’t really have many contacts with these new networks to be honest….so we will see how it goes. I’m REALLY trying to get on the WNBA broadcasts. That would be a big time game changer for me and my family.Sucks. Hopefully you are able to fill that with something
The factors are instead of only 2 networks broadcasting nationally there are now what……5. Instead of national game 2 days a week there are literally national games 7 days a weeek.8 national games. We had what - 1 each of the last couple years?
Probably 3 big factors for the increase
A. Strong finish last season
B. New TV deal - more national games
C. Yang
You are really caught up on this, which is fine, but that’s not how it works man. Games don’t need to be national to be seen. League Pass has every one of our games. They are already INTERNATIONAL. We didn’t get more national games BECAUSE of this kid, it’s because the networks are NEEDING west coast games to fill all the holes they have created…. Instead of 4 or 6 national games a week, they now need to air at least 14! And I can promise you they are working a deal out where China is purchasing a feed of our broadcast to shoot back home. Not any national feed….the BLAZERS small regional feed. That’s what they did for the Rockets and Yao. It’s normal process for international stars. Germany did it with Dallas’ feed for years. The Yang factor isn't exclusive to China TV - there's more Chinese Americans than any Asian ethnicity in the US. I think we are BEHIND them 14 hours. I might be wrong. It’s already Monday there right? I know when I was working in Tokyo, my kids would joke that I was in the future. It will be 12 Noon in China for the 8 pm games which all are scheduled after the end of daylight saving time (November 2nd).

Yes, TNT. And for years we did OUR 1st round, then I would head out with them. But now, it’s crazy. People that are the best in the biz who have been working games for decades are kinda hanging.not sure if they will work games anymore. NBC has NBC guys…..a lot of nervous people in my industry right now.I thought you usually get picked up by a one of the broadcasting companies during the playoffs?
