If we make the playoffs, our pick this year goes to Chicago….right?

If so, does that benefit us in some way? Hurt us in some way? I mean would the pick going to them next year be better somehow?

If it conveys, it opens up the ability to trade a whole lot of picks. More than most in the league. After the draft (assuming there was a player worth it) you could conceivably trade 6 first rd picks in a deal for a star. 2027, 2028 (best of Mil/Por/Orl), 2029 (best of Mil/Por/Bos), 2029 (worst of Mil/Por/Bos), 2031, 2033.

With getting rid of the pick debt to Chicago, having 6 tradable, unprotected 1st rd picks and players like Camara, Shaedon, and Scoot, Portland has the ability to get a real star player to put next to Deni, Donovan, and Dame, if one becomes available. I know people wont like putting Camara in that list, but it all depends on the player that becomes available

I don't like that dude either. He plays so dirty. He is so unsportsmanlike. There is being an enforcer and then there is being an ahole.

And my first interaction with Bones was this last season in LA at the Clippers game. He asked me if Calabro was around. Chatted him up a bit. Very cool dude…..told him I was a duck fan though.

Also, is Grant really upgraded to doubtful? Would be nice if we had his long arms for defense and his corner threes.

Also, I wish I had the executive lounge finished at my P.O.B. (place of business), I would invite you all to a watch party tonight to watch the biggest game we've had in many years. Seems like we keep having to say "this is the biggest game in years" about several games now.

Anyway, yes, will work on getting things done so maybe NEXT year that kind of thing can happen.
