So before I get my blood pressure up, I need to ask

If we make the playoffs, our pick this year goes to Chicago….right?

If so, does that benefit us in some way? Hurt us in some way? I mean would the pick going to them next year be better somehow?

Making the playoffs will be fun, so I’m just asking
If we make the playoffs, we convey our pick to Chicago. We do get a pick swap with the Bucks for making the playoffs as well

The first Bucks swap is in 2028 so missing the playoffs this year doesn't necessarily impact if we get that swap or not.

I guess we would open up access to trading the best of our pick, the Bucks' pick and the Magic's pick in the first round of 2028 if we make the playoffs, so that's a draft asset positive for any immediate trade we'd want to make.

Fuckin' Bezos Broadcasting!

The Boys No GIF by Amazon Prime Video

Local broadcasts haven’t been available since the play in started to be honest. In the past we would have picked up broadcasting the first round again though, just not the play in.

I wasn’t aware there was no local radio though. I’d double check on that. I think Travis is down there to call the game.

There is local radio.
Now I listen to the postgame show on IHeart all the time on my drive home. But you can’t listen to the actual game on there huh? Have to go to 620’s website? Don’t have a radio anymore.

I think the Blazers have a real shot in this game

Phoenix is 6-10 over their last 16 games
Portland is 10-6 over their last 16 games

Phoenix had a little tougher schedule, but they just haven't been playing well. In the games Portland won over that stretch, the Blazers had a big run sometime during the game. Runs like 18-4; 16-3; 20-5. Runs that put the Blazers in control. I'm expecting to see one of those tonight

Well, it necessarily means that the swap with Milwaukee is guaranteed to be available for the Blazers.
Seems like it impacts it a lot to me. No need to worry about missing the playoffs next season then having to tank 2027-28.

Where are we going to watch this if it's on Prime and the previous game is going into overtime? I guess they just open up a separate stream? I'm used to games on TNT when this happens, lol.

It's on Prime so just get out of the Charlotte/Miami game and click on our game.

Jimmy Jackson being very charitable in saying that we get rebounds after we get stops.

We've been much better this season at getting teams to miss shots or turn the ball over than we have been at finishing defensive possessions with a solid rebound.

So then we want to keep this years pick and then give our pick to Chicago next season, which was what I already wanted.
