247 people on the no fly list have bought guns

How about this, if you're on the no fly list you are banned from going on the internet. You will most likely be contacting other terrorists so therefore, it is bad.

Bad people shouldn't have good guns.
Are these US citizens?

I know the freakshow from the other day was. If not, deport them.

If they are citizens prove they've done something wrong or leave them alone. Or keep an eye on them, whatever but don't infringe on their rights because they are on some list.

They can't go to mosques either. Or rock concerts, that music is aggressive.

There may be circumstances, but I'm pretty sure the government doesn't put most people on a no fly list just because they feel like it. There could be people on a no fly list for reasons that wouldn't make you question whether or not they should own guns, but I'm sure there are also those on the no fly list who you would not want owning a gun.

So, then...what is the due process? An agency decides you should be punished with any trial or input on your part? The government decides that you shouldn't be able to do something?

If there is a good reason, arrest them for something.

I see something on the news about a suspect getting kicked in the head. I don't know where or why but I do know that there are criminals I DO want kicked in the head.

That doesn't mean the cops should be able to.

And I should be able to have people listed on the No Fly list.

As soon as a president makes their secret service and military put down their guns ill listen to them about taking mine. Until then, kiss my ass, hypocrite.

In a 2010 report, the Government Accountability Office noted that "Membership in a terrorist organization does not prohibit a person from possessing firearms or explosives under current federal law," and individuals on the No Fly List are not barred from purchasing guns.[19] According to GAO data, between 2004 and 2010, people on terrorism watch lists—including the No Fly List as well as other separate lists—attempted to buy guns and explosives more than 1,400 times, and succeeded in 1,321 times (more than 90 percent of cases).[20]

Trump's Wall will be expensive, but it will be cheaper than the annual payroll for Customs, which it will replace. No more lines at Customs, because no more movement between borders. As Republicans say, no borders, no country.

Geez, this is unbelievable! The current leader of our country actually wants to do this crap. The Person running to replace him want to do this crap.
It becomes a joke on this board.

I had an employee on this figgin list and we never could get him off of it. He was on apparently because the government had listed someone else with the same name,
it mattered not that my employee was from Austria, still couldn't fly from the US.

There are 95 people with my name in California, 16 more in Oregon. I do hope they all behave. No! Screw these fascist Democrats and their ditch the Constitution agenda.

It's not the actions of democrats (you admitted that yourself), it's the actions of people who don't know how to solve the problem.

I can't fault them, there's no clear cut way to determine who has immoral intentions. But you can't fault them for trying.

Someone recently told me something I (surprisingly) hadn't heard before - We judge ourselves by our intentions, and others by their actions.

What is the answer to this? To me it starts with honesty not only to ourselves but to others about your intentions. Unfortunately many still lie about their intentions and try to disguise it in their actions.

Actually I believe it is specifically the Democrats and their agenda. Their tactic is to never waste a crisis, such as terrorist attack.
If implemented, it would have had no effect on this incident, but no matter, it is an opportunity to stroke the agenda again.

I do fault them for trying not to do what is needed. We, the people of the United States have had war declared on us. Acts of war have been committed several time now, targeting the people of this country. These are not criminal acts, they are acts of war by enemy combatants. They should be treated as enemy combatants, not criminals. The FBI should be hunting enemy combatants, not trying to determine if people intend to commit crimes.

To make this change in approach to the threat we face, the Presdent needs to ask Congress to declare war on our advisary. Congress needs to do it's duty and define the the enemie. Then the forces of this country can begin to focus on the real problem, those that would attack the people in this country to cause maximum carnage for being non believers.

There are Muslims in this country that know Islam needs to under go a reformation, I suspect there are others in the rest of the world. They can help and we should help them get it done. We will be under attack until we get on track to do something objective to change the current status.

So, you are against the no-fly list, but you want the FBI to 'hunt enemy combatants'. And when they find one, then what? Give them a ride to the gun store? Buy them an airline ticket?

Donald Trump wants to place emigrated American's on a no fly list. So are you claiming he is not the republican he has fooled many into believing he is? Or are you not completely thinking this through?
