2k8 or Live 08

I played last night abou 10 mins, it's my first 2k game, I've always played live, had live 07, so it seemed kind of hard adjusting with the controls. The graphics are cool and also you could see that it's kind of like in the real game, its not easy to score, or defend. You have to work for it.</p>

I was in the same boat. I was just use to pressing a button and you would dunk over the person every single play.</p>

If you want basketball reality, this is definately the game. From the dunks then pointing to the bench, to the celebrations, it's so real.</p>

(well to start the season i went ahead and dropped Ilic and added Armstrong and Jones...as im expecting that to happen anyways...well Jones being either Jones or Houston)</p>

Well Boone and Williams are considered 'prospects', so Collins and Nachbar really rotate through the spots. If Nachbar plays the post as well as he does in the game, we will be fine.</p>

Also, Hassan Adams is sick in the game. Throws down some nasty dunks even though I can't sign him in my Nets franchise cause we don't have no cash haha.</p>

Yeah I think I'm going to have to take a flyer on 'reality' and add him to the team before I start a dynastry (so I can do so without any restrictions)</p>

I want to tweak the sliders to make this thing as realistic as possible.</p>

I hit up Operation Sports and the 2K website, but there's nothing.</p>

Usually the developers post these. Where are they?!</p>

2k sports is where sports fans go to die. It's kind of scary, you'd think there was a caps-lock epidemic over there or something.</p>

Personally I like to turn up the overall difficulty, and my shooting sliders by 5 points, and turn down the CPU shooting by 3 or 4. That usually balances it out.</p>

Period. 2k really listens to its fans. They've addressed asically every issue that I personally have had with the game. I've played a few games and honestly the only real issue I've had is too many points in the paint and too few trips to the line. Not just big men but true shooters passing up open jumpers for contested inside shots. Just basically too many inside points/shots. They're both basically solved in the same way.

3pt Tendency 60]-The problem I was having was partially that they were too slow on the trigger from mid-ranged and 3. This makes shooters far deadlier now cause they don't wait until someone closes on them.

My games have been basically flawless since then.</p>

A small adjustment: having read DC's sliders I agree with his turning all the foul sliders to 75 and reset the Tendency to Foul slider to 50.</div></div>
