I need @Darkwebs to make some phat graphics for this thread, but in the meantime, I'll post a couple links for a little pre-playoff info for anyone interested.

Blazer5Gaming is the #1 seed (for the second straight year) and is looking to exorcise the demons of last year's ignominious first-round playoff loss. Opposing them are Warriors Gaming, a squad who would not have reached the playoffs had they not won the mid-season "Ticket" tournament. They're no fluke though, given that they also won "The Turn" a few weeks prior.

So I heard the first 2 weeks of this last summer, the ratings were terrific! TONS of viewers and then BAM! Straight into the toilet. Barley hear about it this summer.
I do have a dope hat though.

I like video games, but watching others play video games has always been boring to me. Its big amongst the youngin’s but Ive been in meetings about how can we make people want to watch our stuff on twitch and I have like no input for that lol.

At the very least, this is basketball. It's eminently more watchable (IMO) than dudes playing Fortnite or COD. Of course, the gamer community disagrees on that point...

Yeah, that's the truth. I think I'm old, but Fortnite is so boring... I shouldn't say that too loud as I work with Epic Games pretty frequently, and I'm literally in the unreal engine right now running simulations heh.

The Fortnite community is made up of 13 year old (and under) kids, oh and Meyers. But really, most people watching streams do it for the personalities first and the games second.

I'm not sure what the actual numbers are though I could get out of my office and go find a few people who might be able to tell me, my anecdotal evidence makes me believe that Twitch and Fortnite are mostly 15-30ish-year-olds.

That sound about right. A quick google search will also confirm that:

Since we're on a basketball forum, the NBA also has the lowest average fan age among all the major pro sports in the US. https://adage.com/article/media/nba-ratings/311486

Best of 3 series and all games are played today.
True, but I didn't want to put "2:00 pm, 4:00 pm, and 6:00 pm (if necessary)" in the thread title.

Semifinals are Friday after B5 takes care of business today.

I was going to p0st something negative about playing video games in this thread, but I decided not to.

LOL. Gonna get swept two years in a row in the first round as the 1 seed. Yikes.

I swear, Stotts must have been coaching this Blazer team too. Keep running the pick and roll no matter how ineffective, park the forwards in the corner, leave the opposition open around the arc...it's like de ja vu all over again.

I thought so as well. That was comically bad.
