If we can get that level of player for that pick I'll be extremely surprised but pleasantly so. Then your plan would make sense.
 
Barlowe....took over the NBA Big Board from Chad Ford.
Looking at 2nd round players he thinks will outperform their Draft slot aka Herb Jones.

There’s a chance that he won’t be there at 36. He also measured extremely well: 6’10” 7’3” wingspan.

I finally see Cronin's strategy, he gets to be the generous guy to all the other GMs and has tapped a resource that ensures the goods(and discount) will be forthcoming well into the future. He's such a good friend to other GMs. Such a nice guy.

hadn't looked until now, but do I see two 2nd round Blazer picks this summer? I think one is Charlotte's, that's definitely a keeper. Probably land ~#34. The other is Atlanta's. The Hawks are having a sludgy start to their season. That 2nd rounder might be a pretty decent.

I know there's protected 2nd rounders all over the place, but if that Hornets pick is valid, then the Blazers are going to have to make some room for 3 (or more) talented rookies next year.
 
sounds like the Remix are going to be LOADED next year. That should be fun to watch.
