Gerald Wallace trade best in two decades for Blazers? He's right up there with Sheed and Pippen.

I would say if he keeps this up that he is the best in season trade we have had in 2 decades. He fills in everything we need pretty much exactly like Camby last year. I'm gonna wait tell the playoffs to really proclaim his trade anything other then great.

Who wasn't hobbled during the playoffs? Batum bum shoulder, Roy's knees, Oden out, Pryz out, Martell's back, Camby's knees.

Wow. This forum has really slowed down. 4 pages? People say they don't want let down efforts by the team after big wins but it looks like the fans in here give let down efforts after big wins. I assume the place will brighten up tomorrow. Especially win. Still, it's kinda sad. Not a single thread on our front page has more than 5 pages, excluding the stickys.

I don't think this was the kind of matchup to get the blood pumping. We have plenty of other short game threads against weaker teams. Playing down to the competition -- that's how we roll.

We were in control most of the way so we wouldn't get near as many posts as if we were behind a lot and not doing well. Weekend also is slower here.

Wallace has exceeded my expectations. And I had high expectations. His passing and 'handles" are so much better than I thought that I am stunned. I knew he could play D and rebound and finish at the rim. But his ability to lead the fast break and his interior passing has blown me away.

Playing down to their opponents' level is a serious problem in the playoffs. If they play down to the level of the Spurs or Lakers or Mavs...they are in serious, serious trouble.

Great game offensively.. Defensively not so much. But I love what we're doing on offense. Give Nate credit.. Just so many options within the sets and its flowing real well. Just reading and reacting to the defense. I'm loving it.

One thing's for sure, the game thread will be in double digits. Count on it.

When the team plays like that on offense, they are fun to watch and tough to beat. If the players would just buy into the system and play that way every game, they might actually have a chance in the first round.
